If it is beyond understanding, if i can never touch, taste, see, or hear it...then it simply does not exist. If it can not be definitively supported with physical data, then I'm afraid to say it is just another fairy tale like Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy.

	If God does exist, he should probably be pretty ashamed of himself. He's started wars that have killed millions of people. I don't have a problem with people praying to a "God" who may or may not exist, even though I see this as a waste of precious time. My problem is with the people who try to force their beliefs upon others, like parents who indoctrinate their children (or, for that matter, the Kansas Board of Education). For those of you who have not read "The Gospel of The Flying Spaghetti Monster", it's actually a pretty thought-provoking book (not to mention being hilarious.) ------------------- Credit to Mindless Pie for the banner.

Well that depends on what faith you believe in,It's about half and half, some christian faiths believe in pre-destination or "gods will" others believe that God lets us choose everything...which in that case you shouldn't pray to God... but yes if you thank God for everything good that happens, you should blame him for all the bad things as well...because, according to faith he controls the world...

That is a rather primitive way of determining existence. We know that there is a whole universe out there of things uncharted, because we cannot find them. That does not mean that the rest of the universe does not exist. It merely means that it is in fact, beyond us. The whole universe is beyond our understanding, because we do not possess the means to understand it all. If this can apply to the universe, then surely it can apply to God. -------------------

	You cannot apply odds to something that does not have a probability. And something making sense to humans, as I tried to imply, does not really credit or discredit something. It may one day make sense to us, it might not. Well, what's the likelihood of there being a creature with the ability to create the entire universe? As I said, no matter what the number is, it's astronomical. By saying that, you are essentially saying that God is forcing people to fight against each other. Those that fight over religion do not do so because they are commanded to by some higher being, but simply because they cannot live with people who do not have the same beliefs as them and feel the only way to deal with this is to resort to violence. Be careful how you word things; it is not God that has created any wars, merely people whos beliefs conflict and cannot live with that. -------------------

	The "possibility" of there being a Creator is not up to chance. If you pick a random number between 1 and 100, you have a definite likelihood of choosing 3 - specifically, 1%. For it to be up to chance would require an event which randomly created a Creator but could, by random chance, have not created the Creator. Does that make sense?
