I only find it hard to believe that he has never interfered; World War 2, for example. Why didn't he step in and stop the genocide of millions of Jewish people, Gypsies, and people of other ethnicities? It was obviously cruel and should have been stopped earlier, so why wasnt it?

Because God just doesn't intervene when things go badly. There have been many other instances in which divine intervention would have been nice, but it just does not happen that way.

I assure you that those who don't worship aren't immediately cast down and out as sinners and sent to hell. It doesn't make an ounce of sense. I suggest you go speak to someone who's knowledgeable about what you're trying to refute. That way you'll better understand and come to the table with different points of view, instead of this narrow minded view you've got right now.

I think we all go to some sort of heaven (as long as we HAVE a religion). Like I said before, if a Buddhist goes to hell, does that mean Christian hell is Buddhist Nirvana? I really just think that everyone goes to what their religon depicts as 'heaven'.

Well, I meant something similair... I don't have a large grasp on any religion, to tell the truth.

That's ridiculous. If that were true, I might as well start my own religion and come up with my own version of heaven.

It makes sense if based solely on the fact that God loves everyone (at least in the New Testament!).

However, Christianity needed hell (a pagan belief really) to get converts. Otherwise there isn't really any incentive to convert.

I thought bible has different versions? Could be wrong, though.

Different translations. Not different versions.

All the major Protestant and Catholic churches both agree on the same Canonical books to use as their bible. The only major church that includes books not generally included in the Bible is the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. I'm sure there's smaller denominations that include Apocrypha texts, but none that you'll probably ever hear about.

Mormonism isn't the same as quite the same as (normal) Christianity. Just like Islam has the Qur'an which isn't part of the bible. Judaism doesn't include the new testament, it calls the Old Testament the Tanakh. The book of Mormon isn't part of the bible. Mormons themselves look at as a companion to the Bible, not part of it.

However, that church looks at a few Apocrypha as part of the original Bible.
