im having a huge problem. every time i buy a chiken its dead the next morning.. i have fences like everywhere.. some are kind of run down looking. is that why they keep dying? and if so how the heck do i pick up these fence pecies it wont let me... playing this on wii virtual console btw

You pick it up from the Livestock Dealer's backyard, right? I don't really know about protecting your chickens from predators, so I just keep them inside. About the fences, you need to smash them with your hammer. I don't think you can in the winter, though.
