Spring 4th, Thursday, Year 1

'I heard you had a accident in Town Rain. Are you ok?'Gotz asked once they had sat at the table and Rain had gotten the tea and biscuits. She nodded her head and looked embarrassed. Did everyone know about her little fall?

'It was nothing. I just got a bit of a bump on my head that's all,' she replied, taking a sip of tea. 'I'm fine now.'

'I would hope so. You could have gotten seriously injured. Why did Storm throw you off like that?'
Rain explained about Popuri and the chicken and then about going to the hospital with Gray. Then she found herself talking about what Karen had said and how she felt bad about it.

'Dont mind Karen. She's a bit like that sometimes. She really didnt have to yell at you like that, especially since the Mayor told you it was Ok for you to be riding Storm in town. I would just ignore her,' Gotz advised. Rain smiled appreciatively. Then she suddenly she heard a knock on the door and she got up to get it.

'Gray!' she exclaimed, seeing the boy smile sheepishly at her.

'I just wanted to check up on you. How's your head?' he asked.

'It's fine. Come in! Gotz is here and we where just having something to eat and drink.'

The puppies rushed into the house just as she was going to close the door, and they ran around and barked.

'Slow down you two before you-'
CRASH!
'Break something,' Rain sighed, getting a broom and shovel and cleaning up the vase they had broke. The dogs whimpered, as though saying they were sorry.

'Those are some energetic puppies you got there,' Gray observed. 'When did you get them?'
'Only yesterday. Barley gave them to me when I went over there to ask about things I would need to start my farm.'

They talked well into the night, laughing and having a good time. Rain hadnt had that much fun in a long time.

Later that night, after Gotz had given her a bag of small pieces of wood he didnt need and she had given them both a hug as a goodbye and thank you for worrying about her, she sat back down at the table. She didnt even notice the dogs jump up, just began patting them absent-mindedly. So much had changed since she had left the city. She had left the city to start a new life. And that was exactly what she was doing. In a matter of days she had made many friends and had new members of the family. Even Storm was happier.

She went to bed with the puppies and thought of how lucky she was. It brougt a smile to her face and she fell asleep.

Name: Karlos Sario

Physical description:
Personality:He is very kind, but cautious about who he meets. He loves video games and will not hesitate to turn down an offer to play a game. When he begins to know someone, he quickly becomes friends and makes a great friendly relatiosnship.
Likes and dislikes: He loves just about everything from marmite to cooking to hanging out with mates and competitions.
History: He used to work as an undercover agent but got injured in the chest when chasing a criminal. He survived his injury and carried on with his job. He got lost after chasing his target and eventually ended up in Mineral Town.
Family:His family is unknown even to him becuase he was found lying on the streets on a rainy day at only 4 years old. He has vague memories of a mother.
Other:He has a gun in his coat pocket but never uses it anymore. He usually stores it at home in his drawer. Plus, it has no more bullets rendering it harmless.


Friday 5th Spring. Year 1

Karlos staggered into the nearest house and asked where he was.
"You're in Mineral Town my mate. Where have you come from and what are you looking for?" ask the kind-looking gentleman.
Karlos hesitated for a moment but eventually spoke out.
"I am Karlos Sario. I don't really remember much about what happened last night apart from chasing some criminal. I suddenly found myself here." he said.
"Hahahahaha. Well do you have any thing that you may need here? Oh and by the way, I'm Gotz, the woodcutter. If you need any certain help, then you should ask around the town. And who knows? You may make friends here." Gotz said.
"Well, I don't have much to do at all now that I lost the guy." Karlos said sofly as he took a mug of hot chocolate from Gotz.
"Well why don't you stay here then? You can stay in here for the night if you don't have to go. There's a spare cottage in town, and the mayor Thomas is trying to get it occupied. I was going to demolish the house today, but the Mayor asked me to do it next week. What do'ya say?" Gotz asked.
Karlos took a sip from the mug and shrugged. Not long after, he fell asleep in his chair.

Karlos woke up later in his bed. He almost forgot where he was but eventually remembered that he was in Gotz's spare room. He remembered the offer that Gotz had gave him about the empty house in Mineral Town and he sat there thinking about it. He glanced at the wall clock and realised that it was only about 4pm.
"So you're awake now? Well, well. You must have been sleepy dozing off at that time. Have you thought about the offer yet?" asked Gotz as he entered the room to check up on Karlos.
Karlos thought for a minute and made his mind up.
"Yeah I've decided to move in. My other home must be miles away from here." Karlos grinned at Gotz and chuckled.
"Oh. Do you have any family back there that could be missing you?" Gotz suddenly said in a softer tone.
Karlos lay back on the bed and eventually said, "No. I don't have any family back there. I don't remember my parents and I was an only child apparently and I don't have a wife. Not yet that is." He smiled again and stood up.
"I'm going out to check out my new house and meet some people. I'll be back later for dinner."
Before Gotz could say anything else, Karlos left the room. He walked out of the house and eventually found his way up into the town.

Physical Description: Handsome, athletic, tall, large scar across one eye from a knife that he protected his little sister from three years before, shockingly clear blue eyes like those of a cat or dragon, blonde hair, pale skin, strange bumps on his back, black t-shirt, black jacket, blue jeans, white shoes, black backpack, trained wildcat called Fury.
Personality: Brave, funny, caring, loving, dark (sometimes), imposing, ruthless (also only sometimes), shy (only around Elli)
Likes: Food, rest, parties, nature, drinks, good friends, family, Elli, herbs.
Dislikes: Idiots, poachers, hunters, jerks, criminals.
History: He grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere. He protected his 10 year old sister from a man with a knife who was threatening them in a bank three years ago and sustained a massive scar across one eye. The police arrested the man and Whisp spent two weeks in the hospital recovering. When he got out, he signed up as an undercover agent and tracked down the worst of criminals. He accidentally shot Karlos while they were agents together, but he was aiming for a criminal instead.
Family: Emily (his sister), Josephine (his mother), Blackskull (his father, is actually a dragon/human hybrid, but Whisp doesn't know about this).
Other: Carries two short daggers, a long sword and a bow around, but usually hides them under his clothes somewhere. (for safety reasons)

Karen's Black heart event:

"Hahahahahaha!" Karen laughed as she listened to Karlos' joke and took another swag of Doug's best wine, "You're funny!
Karlos felt himself blush slightly. Doug came over and gave Karlos another glass of wine. He liked talking to everyone, it made him feel more comfortable in the town.
Karen suddenly paused and pointed at his chest and said sweetly, "That wound on your chest, doesn't it hurt?"
Karlos looked down and laughed.
"No not really," he lied, but secretly he had been nhaving pains in his chest recently.
But Karen knew that he was hiding something, "Let me take you to Elli, Mineral town's nurse. I'll ask her to check it."
Karlos, knowing that even though he wanted it to be checked, he felt like insisting that he was fine. Just befoire he was going to turn the offer down, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest that forced him to agree.

Later, at the hospital, Elli took an x-ray of Karlos' chest. Karen gasped when she saw what it was.
"Is it bad Elli?" Karlos said, nervously.
"I'm afraid quite so." Elli replied, "you said that you got shot in the chest a while ago? And you had an operation to take the bullet out? Well I'm afraid that they didn't do a very good job. They missed a fragment of the bullet just outside your heart, you see?"
She handed him a shot of the x-ray and he felt shocked deep inside. Another throb. He needed to take another operation to reove the piece of bullet.
Just before they left the hospital, Karlos looked at Karen and thanked her. He also gave her a bottle of wine.
Karen blushed and they walked away.

Friday 5th Spring year 1: 19:45

Whisp walked through the town that he had been informed was where an old friend of his father's was living after his father's so-called death three or four years ago. He didn't know much about this friend, or anything really. All he knew was his name. "Gotz" he said to himself as he walked. "I must find Gotz".
As he rounded the corner leading to the square, he suddenly stopped in mid step. Walking with some girl was someone he knew very well from his days as an undercover agent. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Karlos Sario" he thought. Karlos and the girl stopped and looked at him, Karlos looking like he was straining to remember his face.
"Well, well, if it isn't Karlos Sario. So we meet again" he thought as he casually pulled out one of his two daggers and spun it around. Again, he thought "I remember you, but do you remember me?"

Karlos looked at the new face. He had a vague memory of that face, but he couldn't quite make out who it was. The dagger that he was spinning seemed vaguely familiar.
"Hello, you must be new around here. I'm new as well. By the way, my name is Karlos. And you?" he asked.
He could make out a faint smile in the other person's face.
"I'm Whisp," he replied, and as soon as he said that, Karlos' memory came back.
"Whisp? From the Undercover Agency?!"Karlos cried.
Whisp laughed and smiled. He put away the dagger and went over to punch Karlos in the chest in a friendly manner but Karen stopped him.
"Please be careful. Karlos has an injury there." she said.
Whisp smiled and replied in a cheerful tone, "Yeah I know. Haha. But the doctor's did a good job. Eh? Karlie?"
Karlos grunted as the pain came back, "I'm afraid not. Elli found a fragment of the bullet still in me. I'm having an operation in a week. And call me Karlos. I've decided to keep that name."
Karen nudged him and he suddenly remembered, "Oh and this is Karen my friend."
Whisp smiled and shook here hand, "Oh, yeah. I'm looking for someone called Gotz. He's my Father's old friend."
"Gotz? Yeah I do. I'm staying over at his house until tomorrow. I can take you to see him if you like." Karlos replied, half-shocked.
"That would be good Karlos," Whisp said and patted him on the back.
Karlos hugged Karen and took Whisp to Gotz's.
I must be careful not to tell Karen the truth behind my chest. She'll get the wrong impression and hurt Whisp...
Urgh...it was only an accident though...damn...I should have moved away faster...
"You still hate me for shooting you?" Whisp whsipered to Karlos.
Karlos shook his head and said, "Nah, you were aiming for that guy. Why sgould I hate you for an accident? It's just by chance that he moved quick enough to dodge the bullet and make it hit me."
Whisp laughed, "Yeah, you were lucky that I didn't use tose special bullets that Stan gave me, they would have finished you off!"
"Yeah. Those poison bullets...hehe..."Karlos grinned as they approached Gotz's house.

Everything was set. They'd completed almost everything yesterday. Now all Anna and Lucia needed was to make enough money to get some seeds and animals and the farm would be standing on it's wown two feet. Lucia was planning out the last little bit and Anna was taking a stroll around town with Jake.

Lucia looked around the farm. Farms were generally filled with horsesm, cows, sheep, chickens and crops. Could a farm be useful for anything more? 'That's something I'll have to look into once this farm is running and we have a balanced income..' Lucia thought quietly to herself.

((Okay, guys. This roleplay is officially too fast. From now on, at least a page will have to be finished before changing the date. And from now on, the two post rule is in effect. If that gets too hard, we'll bring it down to one post, but until then let's try and keep this slow, 'kay guys? ^__^ And thanks for reminding everyone to make their posts lengthly and to post the date, Rox ))

Astra wiped the sweat off her brow as she looked at her work. It had been hard, but... worth it. She felt proud of herself, that she had planted and was growing these plants.

She walked around the farm, trying to get a feel for it, for the nature blooming in great speed. Nature was so wonderful. If only mankind wasn't destroying it, she thought. But today would not be a sad day. It could not be.

Because Leroy was visiting tomorrow.

Ooc: I'm involved in quite a few other roleplays and I might not be able to post every so often. Just thought I'd let you know.

Friday 5th, Spring, Year 1
Drei woke up that morning feeling horrible. He hadn't slept well at all the night before, and Tori seemed restless too.

"What was that..." Drei quickly sat up hearing a noise. He looked at his clock but it was only 4:00am, He got up and looked around outside. There was nothing he saw at first but as he kept looking around, he heard a rustle in a tree. It could be just the wind but Drei looked closer and saw a baby woodpecker. Drei had never seen a woodpecker before and at a closer look it seemed that it was injured.

Drei picked up the woodpecker and carried it towards the avery which he had made the other day. Put the shaking, scared little bird in one of the nests and gave it some food and water and went back inside to get a couple more hours sleep.

(flashback)

Karlos decided to go to bed later than usual. He took a walk around Lavender Park and sat down.
"You feeling alright Karlie?" Whisp said as he sat down beside Karlos. Karlos was startled for a moment and almost drew his gun out when he realised it wasn't there.
"Oh. It's you Whisp. Yeah, the wound's not bad. After the Op. they told me to take it easy so I won't be at work for sometime. Maybe a few weeks or so," He replied.
Whisp nodded.
"Hey you know what? I seem to have lost my gun!"
Whisp suddenly remembered something, "Oh yeah, and I need to give you this. You dropped it when I shot you by accident. Here you go." He handed Karlos his pistol. On it, there was a small blood-stain, "I'm sorry but I couldn't get it off."
Karlos went silent for a moment and eventually said, "So that was where it was. Cheers Whisp."
Karlos sat there with Whisp for a few minutes and eventually fell asleep there.
