Spring 3rd, Wednesday, Year 1

Rain's eyes fluttered open and she found herself staring up at an unfamiliar roof. She wondered at this for a moment before remembering she had eaten dinner with Drei. She must have fallen asleep... No wonder, after all the work she had done yesterday. And she still had a lot to do today.
Drei shifted beside her before settling back into the couch. He was snoring slightly and this made Rain smile. By the time they had finished moving the stones he had been exhausted. She didnt want to wake him from some much needed sleep.
She quietly stood and grabbed a blanket from the bed to put over him, then wrote a quick note and left it on the table. She slipped out of the house and breathed in the cold air with a shiver of delight. She loved the early morning, with the dew still on the grass and the sun not quite in the sky.
She collected Storm from the stable and rode back to her own farm. It was situated right at the base of the mountain and was just past a small stream that led to a lake. She could see many fish swimming lazily in the crystal clear water as she rode over the bridge, and she laughed as they sped away when Storm's shadow passed over them.
'Silly fish,' she whispered in the horse's ear, and he neighed and nodded his head, as though he agreed. After a quick shower and a bite to eat, Rain headed off again with Storm.
'How about a run boy?' she said, grinning when his ears flicked back and forward again. Run. That was one word he knew well. Immediately he broke out into a canter and Rain laughed as they sped past the stream. As they neared the entrance to Gotz's house she told him to slow down and he did so, going into a trot before returning to a walking pace. She waved at the wood cutter, who had just come out of his house, and he waved back. She would've liked to talk to him but she had a busy day planned. She had decided she would go to the supermarket to buy seeds to plant, then she would see Barley again. He had been quite busy the other day so they hadnt had much time to talk.
Just as she was approaching the chicken farm, something small and white ran out in front of her, clucking indignantly and wildly flapping it's wings. Storm neighed in fright and reared. Rain clung desperately to the reins but Storm reared again and she toppled off.
'Storm! Come back!' she cried as the horse ran off. She groaned at her aching head, which had unfortunately hit the hard path.
'Oh my! Are you alright?' a pink haired girl asked, picking up the chicken and peering at her worriedly. Rain shot her an angry look and said sarcastically, 'I'm fine. My head protected the rest of me from getting hurt.'
'What's going on out here?'

Black heart event
A young boy with blue eyes and blonde hair that was hidden underneath a cap stepped out of the store Rain knew was the blacksmith's, a curious look on his face.
'One of my chicken's escaped again Gray, and it scared the horse this girl was riding and she was thrown off,' the pink haired girl told him. He hurried over and offered Rain his hand.
'Are you okay?' he asked as he pulled her up. 'I've never seen you before. Are you new?'
'Yeah, my name's Rain,' she muttered. 'No seriously,' she said when they both laughed. Was she gonna get laughed at over her name wherever she went?
'Well that's an interesting name. I'm Gray andthat's Popuri,' the boy said.
'Im sorry about my chicken scaring your horse,' Popuri said apologetically. 'But they're always running away from me! Can I do anything to make it up to you?'
'Unless you have some painkillers I think there's nothing you can do,' Rain muttered, rubbing her aching head. It seemed like it hurt more than before.
'I dont have them,' she said. Then her face brightened. 'I know!' she said, hurrying back into th farm and reappearing a moment later, holding out an egg with a smile. 'Take this! You just put it into your incubator and it'll hatch in a couple of days!'
'Thanks I guess...' Rain said, taking the egg and looking at it oddly. She hadnt planned on raising chickens...
'So how do you like Mineral Town so far Rain?' Gray asked shyly. She held her throbbing head and winced before beginning to say, 'yeah i-it's been gr-great...'
Gray quickly caught her as she fainted.
'Oh no! She said she hit her head when she fell. We better take her to the hospital!' Popuri exclaimed.

10 minutes later...
Rain opened her eyes to find herself under another unfamiliar roof. This is happening too often, she thought as she sat up with a groan. Her head still ached, but it certainly felt much better than it had before.
'You're awake!' Gray exclaimed, springing out of the chair he had been sitting in. Popuri hurried in with two other people, who Rain judged were the nurse and doctor.
'You have quite a large bump on your head young lady. You should be more careful,' the doctor told her sternly. 'Unless you want to end up back here.'
'How did I get here in the first place?' Rain said. Gray blushed and said, 'I carried you here.'
'Thanks Gray,' Rain said quietly, making him blush even more. 'It was nothing, really!' he insisted.
'Well, despite that I want you to have this,' she said, givin him the bird she had carved. 'As a thank you.'
Gray took it hesitantly and studued it before putting it in his pocket.
'I dont have another to give to you Popuri, but I'll carve something soon, ok?' Rain told the girl.
'You dont have to do that!' Popuri said, but Rain shook her head and said she wanted too. Then she turned to the Docter and asked, 'can I go now?'
'I wouldnt recomend it,' he said. 'But if you want to go I cant stop you.'
'Just promise you'll go right home and straight to bed!' the nurse said. 'You need to rest up after such a trying day.'
'I'll take her Elli, dont you worry,' Gray said. The nurse nodded and Rain hopped out of the bed. She was surprised when she learnt she didnt have to pay. This place was way different from the city.
When Gray and Rain got back to her house she turned at the door and thanked him again.
'Dont worry about it. Hopefully I'll see you around?' he said.
'Sure! You're welcome to come by anytime,' she said. Then she looked worried and he asked, 'what's wrong?'
'I just thought Storm might be here, that's all,' she replied. 'I hope he's alright.'
'Im sure he'll be fine, someone's probably caught him and is looking for the owner as we speak. I'll have a look around for you.'
After Rain thanked him so many times he started blushing again, Gray left and Rain went to lie down. It was still early in the day, so she figured she would do something later. She slowly dozed off, thinking that there was so many nice people in Mineral Town.

Wednesday, Spring 3rd, Year 1

Neptune didn't go around the village yesterday, she had ran out of time after talking to Jack, then she had forgotten about going into town completely.
She glanced at a sign that read 'Blacksmiths.' Neptune glanced up the path, before heading on.
"I wonder if there is a library?" She muttered to herself.
To her delight further up the path there was a library.
She pushed the door open uncertainly, and gazed around at the books.
She spotted a girl, that looked to be around her age, sitting at a counter.
"Hello." Said Neptune quietly, afraid to break the silence.
The girl looked at Neptune.
"Are you new here?" She asked. Neptune nodded.
"I moved in down by the river two days ago." She explained.
The girl nodded.
"Well, My name's Mary, and I run this Library." Mary told Neptune.
"I'm Neptune." She introduced herself.
"Feel free to look around." Mary smiled.
Neptune nodded and gazed at the books in the shelves.

Spring 3rd, Wednesday, Year 1

Drei woke up and found himself with a blanket over him. Rain wasn't next to him, so he got up sleepily, rubbed his eyes and looked around. In the corner of his eye he saw a note on the table as follows:

Wednesday, Spring 3rd, Year 1

Neptune had spent about an hour browsing the shelves in the library, then, after saying goodbye to Mary, she was heading back to her house. But just as she was walking past the poultry farm, Jack came out holding a chicken.

"Err, Hi Jack..." She blushed slightly. Jack glanced up trying to hold down the struggling chicken.

"Hello Neptu--" He started, but he lunged for the escaping chicken, who had just jumped out of his arms. Neptune jumped forward, and the escapee chicken jumped into her arms.

"Erm..." She muttered as the chicken rubbed it's head on her shoulder.

"I think she likes you." Jack laughed. Neptune blushed and stroked the chicken. "Can you help me bring her back to the Chicken Barn?" He asked.

"...Sure." Neptune replied as the Chicken settled down in her arms. She walked alongside Jack as they headed back to his farm. When they got to the Chicken Barn, Neptune tried to put the stubborn Chicken down, resulting in the Chicken clambering onto her head.

"...I don't think it want to get off me." She muttered as she plucked the chicken off of her head, and placed it on the floor. The chicken squarked in protest, and flapped it's wings angrily.

Jack laughed at the animal, before placing some food into the feed box.

"What are you going to call her?" Neptune asked once the Chicken was eating.

"I'm going to call her Aina." Jack told her. Aina looked up at her name.

Neptune smiled and watched the small budle of feathers eat the seed.

You guys write way too much >.< Sorry it's taken me this long to post again. You guys just need to be careful that your character don't get too similar to someone else's (some people can get touchy about it so be careful or I'll come after you with a pitchfork ) Other than that no worries.

Tuesday, Spring 2nd, Year 1

Lucia woke the next morning and looked out across the farm through the window. Anna was still asleep soundly in the bed. Lucia had slept on the floor. It may have been 6am in the morning but Lucia's mind was already ticking and jam-packed with ideas. She'd share them with Anna as soon as she awoke.

For the time being Lucia sat down at the table with a stack of paper. She pulled off a piece of the paper and began to draw. Minutes later she had finished the drawing and had started on another piece of paper with another drawing.

As Lucia began her 13 drawing Anna rolled over and groaned shielding her eyes from the rays of sun that came in through the window. She stumbled out of bad as Lucia mumbled something quickly about her breakfast being somewhere. Anna barely caught what she said and instead decided to just sit at the table until Lucia repeated herself.

Lucia continued on with her drawings and Anna groaned again. "How can your brain be so active at this time in the morning?" she asked sounding slightly more lively than she actually was. Lucia just laughed and carried on. Anna had her head on the table and was listening. Listening out for that familiar sound of flapping wings. After a few moments of listening the sound came followed by a screech. Anna got up and opened the window quickly allowing Jake in to the house. "Are you even going to tell me what your drawing?" Anna asked as she came to sit down again.

Lucia pushed the pile of drawings over to Anna so she could look at them. Anna knew she wouldn't have been drawing drawings like most people would have thought. Lucia had been drawing farm plans and making calculations. Anna's eyes widened seeing all the work she had managed to do before 8 in the morning.

Wednesday, Spring 3rd, Year 1

Lucia and Anna were both up just as early the following morning. Anna didn't groan when the sunshine disturbed her sleep and Lucia didn't spend the entire day drawing plans or making calculations. As soon as they had had some of Lucia's wonderfully made breakfast they headed out. Lucia headed straight off to visit the other farms in the area whilst Anna set off to the supermarket, library and where ever else she felt like going.

Spring 3rd, Wednesday, Year 1

Rain immediately woke up when she heard the knocking on the door. She had dozed off for a couple of hours. Thank goodness someone had woke her up before the day was done.
"Hey Rain. Are you feeling ok? I got a bit worried about you when I found Storm around at my place." Drei said when she opened the door.
"Yeah i'm alright..." Rain replied absent-mindedly, her brain not quite out of sleep yet.
"Are you sure you're not hurt or anything? That lump on your head looks pretty bad..."
"uh!" Rain blushed, her hand quickly going to the lump on her head. Was it that obvious? "Well earlier today I had an encounter with Popuri you could say..."
"Ok then..."
Rain thought she could get out of this as quick as possible, or else Drei would be telling her to go back to bed as well. And she had a lot to do so that wasnt an option. "Well, thanks for waking me up, I got heaps to do today!!! See ya around!"
She ran about and grabbed her shoes and money pouch, then Drei grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her in exasperation. It was like she hadnt heard a word he said. "I got Storm!! He came to me. He seemed spooked."
"Really? thanks a heap!!! I was soo worried! Sorry but I really gotta get going."
Rain ran past him, then with only a slight hesitation, gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. She smiled at how red he went before gracefully mounting Storm and riding out of the farm. She got a fuzzy feeling in her stomach when she thought that Drei had been worried about her. He was so sweet.
'Now Storm, how about we talk about that little abandonment that happened this morning?' Rain said, tapping him between the ears. This was her signal that she was serious. Storm's ears pricked up and he nieghed in a nearly apologetic way. Or he was just laughing at her.
'Alright, I'll forgive you this time. Just gotta be careful of those chickens dont we?'
Storm snorted his agreement.
Rain heard something screech from above and she looked up to see that Tori was following them. She wondered for a moment why he wasnt with Drei before dismissing it. Tori was a falcon, not some docile bird that sits in a cage.
She made her way straight to the farm Barley owned this time, looking down the path before letting Storm walk on the public road. A young man and a brunette girl with glasses were talking outside the chicken farm, and the girl held a chicken. Though Rain hadnt met everyone in town yet she decided not to disturb them and entered the cow farm.
Tori screeched again and landed on Rain's shoulder, his claws digging painfully into her skin. She winced but otherwise ignored it.
'Coming with me today are you?' she asked the bird, who screeched in comfirmation. 'Ok then,' Rain said, leaving Storm to wonder in the yard with the cows and entering the house.
'Why hello there Rain! It's so nice to see you again,' Barley said from behind the counter. 'May! Rain has come to visit again!' he called to his grandaughter. May carefully came downstairs and Rain laughed at the armful of puppies she had. They were all squirming and yapping happily, and May had a big smile on her face.
'Hannah had puppies Rain! See? See?' she said, nodding to the dogs. There were five dogs in her arms, and Rain wondered how she had carried them all. Just she thought this one managed to squirm its way out of her grasp.
'No!' May cried, sighing in relief as Rain swiftly caught him. He yapped at her and wagged his tail rapidly, offering a childish grin.
'May, what did I tell you about carrying them around like that?' Barley scolded. 'You're very lucky Rain was here to catch the poor thing.'
The dog barked as if saying he didnt mind and Tori shifted uncomfortably on her shoulder. Rain opened the door for him and he flew out and joined Storm.
'A fine bird Rain. Is it yours?' Barley asked. Rain shook her head and told him about Drei while Hannah came down stairs with a bark. May put down the puppies and they bounced over to their mother, barking excitedly.
Barley and Rain had sat down at the dining table and were deep in discussion. Rain still had the puppy, and he had settled in her lap. Well he had but then another puppy came over and barked at him, then whined.
'Those two are nearly inseperable,' May said as Rain picked the other puppy up too. 'I think it's really cute!'
Rain laughed as they started wrestling in her lap. Then they both looked up and wagged their tails happily, their tongue's poked out.
'Well Rain I can give you all the information you need for looking after the horses and suppliers and such. But there are some things you will have to work out on your own,' Barley said apologetically.
'That's fine Barley, I really appreciate all the help you've given me. I would be completely clueless without you!' she said earnestly. Barley laughed and patted her arm friendily. 'Im sure you'll do fine Rain. I really think this horse farm of yours could benefit Mineral Town. Here is all the infomation you could need.' He handed her a small notebook, and she accepted it. 'Thank you so much Barley, I dont know what I could do to repay you.'
'Just come visit often dear. Im sure May would love another friend to play with!' Barley said. May nodded enthuiastically and said, 'yeah! Come play with me sometime Rain!'
'I will, I promise,' she said. 'Thank you for all your help Barley. I better go now.'
Rain carefully put down the two puppies, who had fallen asleep on her lap. They woke immediately and barked and whined, putting their paws up on her legs and begging her to pick them up again.
'They seem to have gotten quite attached to you Rain,' Barley said, looking at the two pups in amusement. 'I knew you were good with animals. Maybe you should take them with you.'
Rain looked up with surprise and May cried out indignantly. 'Grandpa, I want to keep them! They're my puppies!' she whined. Barley sat her on his knee and said gently, 'now May, dont pout. You knew we couldnt keep all the puppies. We have the farm to look after. If the puppies were going to go to anyone, wouldnt you want them to go to someone who is going to look after them as well as you would?'
'Yes,' she replied reluctantly. 'But can I keep one?'
'You can keep one,' Barley agreed. May smiled happily and hopped off his lap, picking up the two pups and holding them out to Rain. 'I want you to have them Rain!' she said. 'Cuz I know you're gonna love them as much as I do!'
Rain blinked a couple of times. Instead of leaving with the information she needed she was going to leave with the information and two puppies. How had that happened?
'Thank you May, I promise I'll look after them. And you can visit them whenever you want, ok?'
May nodded and kissed the puppies on the head before handing them over. 'Goodbye puppies,' she whispered. They barked and licked her on the cheek and she giggled.
Rain finally got home at around 4PM. Tori had followed again and was now sitting comfortably on her bed post.
Rain sat at the table and the dogs immediately whined to be picked up. She did so and they squirmed for a while before falling asleep.
'I'll call you Tai,' Rain said of the puppy who was light brown with a little black on the end of his tail. 'And you can be Sal,' she said to the female who was a little darker brown and had a white spot around one of her eyes. Rain carefully transferred them to the bed and they settled down wih a yawn. Rain then went back to the table and took out Barley's notebook. Now was the time for some study.

Spring 4th, Thursday, Year 1

Drei was eating breakfast when suddenly he heard a knock on the door and then a 'screech!' Drei quickly ran to the door, he knew it would be Rain and Tori. Nearly slipping on the way, catching the doorhandle, he got hold of his breath and opened the door. "Oh, Hey Rain! Tori! I thought you wouldn't come back! hehe. I knew you would be safe with Rain though." Drei said. Suddenly Drei realised after taking Tori back, Rain had a couple of dogs in her arms. "They are so cute!" Drei exclaimed.
"I picked them up from Barley's yesterday. His dog had puppies!" answered Rain.
"That's awesome! I wish I had a dog... Well one day I might get one. Anyway, thankyou so much for bringing Tori back. I missed him. Have you had breakfast yet? I just begun having mine."
"Nah, it's fine. I quickly had some thismorning and I needed to have an early start to the day. I got so much to do!"
"OK then. I'm pretty busy today too. I'm gonna build an Aviry and breed birds, then i'm going to sell them to people in Mineral Town if they want."
"Sounds like a good idea. Good Luck! Hopefully see you later!"
"See ya Rain!"
Rain walked around the corner, hopped on Storm and rode off.
"OK then..." Drei thought, "Where to begin."
Firstly Drei watered all of his crops and pulled all the weeds from his farm and made room to build an aviry. Thankgoodness for the good weather today, Drei shuttled all the lumber to the site so he could start to build. Drei quickly ran to his house and got the plans and some tools he needed and he started to build.
For the first few times when Drei hammered the pieces of wood, Tori jumped out the way and hid behind him. After hours of sawing, hammering and lots of hard work, Drei finally finished the frame. Now all Drei needed was some wire for the sides, nesting boxes, seed for the birds... and some birds! Firstly Drei went into town to find some wire. He had never been to the Blacksmiths before, but he decided to go in and see if he could get some wire. Drei went in and saw an old man there with grey hair. "Excuse me?" Said Drei. The man was busy fiddling around with some metal and a watering can.
"Yeah! What do you want? You do know we're closed! I accidently left the door open... what? oh hi there! your new to town aren't you? I'm Saibara, the blacksmith! Very sorry, I didn't realise. So how may I help you?" Saibara asked.
"Well..." wondered Drei, "I was wondering if I could get some wire, maybe chicken wire? I'm making an aviry and I need some kind of meshy stuff for the sides."
"OK! I understand, I'll check out back." Saibara went out and came back with a big roll. "How much do you want me to cout for ya?"
"Probably about 10 meters squared?"
"OK, i'll cut that and if you need more come back! So that will be... I dunno i rarely sell this stuff. About 360G."
"Yep, here's your money. Thanks for helping me. Hopefully see you around!"
"Bye!"
Drei left the blacksmiths and headed back to his farm to finally finish off the aviry. It didn't take as long as building the frame, but Drei had put on the chicken wire and hung up the breeding boxes. Now he had finally finished he needed some birds to go in it. Drei had also had some wood left over and there was still a bit of time left in the day. Drei had made two dog houses for Rain, one for Tai and the other for Sal. Drei thought they looked great! Shortly after he just finished making them, Rain had come along. "Sorry I dodn't see you much today..." said Rain, who had just gotten off Storm.
"Well that's fine. Do you like the aviry I made? I finally finished it." asked Drei.
"It's huge! That's cool. I'd better get going now, i'll spend more time with you tomorrow! I promise." Rain winked.
"Before you go!" Drei caught Rain out, "I made these for your puppies."
"Thankyou very much! I love them! But how am I going to get them to my farm?"
"I'll come with you now and i'll carry one. We'll need to get the other one over tomorrow..."
"OK!"
So Drei carried one of the kennels for Rain back to her farm. Once they got back Rain thanked him again and sudenly just kind of jumped at him and gave him a hug. "See you tomorrow Drei!" said Rain.
"See ya!" answered Drei, and he made his way back to his farm.

Anna and Jake easily found the supermarket and got what they needed for Lucia's plans without any hassle. Jake somehow figured Lucia was up to something and flew around in circles out of excitement on the way back to the farm.

While they waited for Lucia to get back from the farms Anna sat down with Jake on her shoulder and read one of the books she had picked up from the Library on her way home.

Lucia, in the meantime, had been to both Yodel Farm and Poultry Farm to get the last bits of her calculations - the prices. "Finally we're all set!" she shouted as she came out of Yodel Farm and looked at the rather large pile of paper in her hands.

She headed back to the farm to finalize things with Anna before they really started tomorrow.

As Anna was reading she turned the page and a small scrap of paper and an envelope containing something rather heavy fell into her lap. "Huh? What's this?" she wondered as Jake started screeching and flying about. She opened the window and let him out. "What spooked him?" she wondered holding the paper and envelope in her hand and looking out the window as Lucia walked in. Anna put the paper and envelope back into the book and put the book in her bag. She sat down next to Lucia at the small table and within a few hours the entire idea was finalized.

Spring 4th, Thursday, Year 1

Today work finally begun. Jake was back and not spooked anymore which made Anna happy. Lucia hadn't known about him spooking so Lucia was a tad confused when Anna started smiling on seeing him in the middle of the field.

Rain groaned at the pain in her head. For a moment she thought she shouldn't have left the hospital against the doctor's orders, but then she realised it was just because she had fallen asleep, and her head was resting on the extremely hard table. She lifted it and she pulled off a piece of paper that was stuck to her forehead.
And this is why I am glad no one is around to see me right now, she thought. She stared at the paper she had been working on. It was covered with calculations and small drawing plans for her farm, and half a dozen more exactly like it were spread out on the table in front of her. She had certainly been busy last night.
'Damnit! I need to get going!' Rain exclaimed when she saw the clock. She had planned another busy day and she should probably give Drei back his bird.
Rain grabbed some toast and chewed on it thoughtfully as she walked outside. Tori had flew onto her shoulder and the dogs had followed her out. They whined to be picked up and Rain did so relunctantly. She should probably not do it too often, less they get used to it. She wasnt going to be picking them up when they were big full grown dogs!
She whistled for Storm and put on his saddlebags for the dogs to sit in. They barked happily at going out again. They were quite adventrous puppies, and seemed to enjoy the horse rides.
'Ok Tori, time to go home,' Rain told the bird. He dug his claws into her shoulder, as though saying he wasnt getting off. Rain sighed and mounted Storm.
Ten minutes later she had dropped off the bird and was on her way again. She made her way into town and after a quick look at her map, found the supermarket.
Where do I put Storm?, Rain thought, looking around and seeing nowhere to tie the horse. She dismounted and led him to a bench that was under a tree and tied him there. Hopefully he wouldnt be in the way.
'Stay here puppies, dont get yourselves into trouble,' She told the dogs, patting them on the heads before entering the store.
'Hello, welcome to the store! Are you new to Town?' a moustached man said with a smile.
'Yeah, I'm new. My name's Rain and I'm looking for some seeds to grow. Something that will grow quickly and easy to harvest if you dont mind,' Rain replied.
'Rain? Never heard that before,' a young blonde girl said from near the back door.
'Karen, that isnt very polite of you,' the moutached man said crossly.
'I dont mind. I've heard a lot worse to be honest with you,' Rain said.
The man explained that his name was Jeff and told her the kind of seeds she was looking for were probably turnip seeds. If she wanted more information she would be better to look in the library. Rain thanked him and said she would buy three sacks of seeds. After paying the money and checking her pockets, she noticed she didnt have a lot of room for the seeds.
'If you like we could send the seeds to your farm for you,' Jeff offered.
'Thank you Jeff, but that wont be necessary. I'll just put them in my horses saddlebags,' she told the shopkeeper. 'I appreciate the offer though.'
Karen suddenly came up to Rain with an angry look on her face. 'You're riding a horse around town?! Do you know how dangerous that is?! You're the one who was put in the hospital yesterday werent you?' she said. Rain was a bit surpirsed by the attack. She had asked the Mayor about riding her horse in town and he had said it was ok, as long as she only walked. Had she misunderstood?
'Im sorry, I'll leave,' Rain muttered, grabbing her seeds and walking out of the Store. Jeff called to her to come back but she ignored him, mounting Storm and hurrying out of town. She didnt know what exactly she had done to be yelled at but she certainly didn't want to stick around to find out.
For the rest of the day Rain cleared her field of the weeds that grew back everyday, and hoed the ground. Then she planted her seeds and watered them. She laughed at the dogs, who had followed her around and ran between her legs. They barked at her happily and she flopped on the ground beside them, letting them jump on her stomach as she stared at the sky. This was exactly what she needed to get her mind off what had happened this morning. A busy mind is a distracted mind.
After she had completed her work she headed back over to Drei's. After seeing the great dog houses he had made for Tai and Sal he wondered back to her place with one, while she rode Storm and carried the dogs.
'Thank you so much Drei, you're such a sweet guy!'she said, giving him a hug.
'That's ok...' he said with a blush.
'I'll see you tomorrow then!' Rain said, smiling as he walked away. She was going to look forward to tomorrow. She had been working hard and now she would get a day to spend with her friend!

The Clinic

Huh?

Astra's eyes fluttered. Suddenly, she opened them wide and sat up straight, looking in the doctor's eyes.

"Wha- what am I doing here?" she asked.
"You fainted. I found you outside monday. Are you alright?" Astra nodded, and blushed.
"Thank you," she said quietly, and walked out the door.

I changed mine so that I'm still on day 4. Sorry about that

Spring 4th, Thursday, Year 1

Rain sat at the table and sighed. There was still a few hours left in the day, but she was already tired. The bump on her head was hurting, but she ignored it. It was only a bump after all.
Sal and Tai sat on the floor at her feet, wagging their tails happily. Sal suddenly stood and put her paws against the chair and started sniffing at one of Rain's pockets and barked.
'What is it girl?' Rain asked. She checked the pocket and was surprised to find the egg Popuri had given her. It was amazing that it hadnt broke in there. She set it on the table and stared at it, resting her chin in her hands. Should she incubate it? She hadnt really planned on raising chickens, but maybe a couple would be nice. She had stones to make an enclosure for them and chicken feed didnt cost that much. Plus, an egg every day. And what else would the chicken house at the bottom of the farm be for? Should she do it?
'What do you think guys? Do we want chickens on this farm?' she asked the dogs. They barked and wagged their tails, then started running around in circles.
I guess that means yes, Rain thought with a smile. She collected the egg and walked down to chicken house, the dogs running in front of her. They stopped every now and then to sniff at things before running ahead again. Even Storm came up to see what was going on.
'Ok guys, here we go,' she said, entering the chicken house and finding the incubator Popuri had talked about. The dogs sniffed at it while she put in the egg, then barked happily. Storm nieghed from the door, where he had managed to get his head in to watch.
'Now we just have to wait three days and then we'll have another member of the family,' Rain told them as she walked back to the house.
'Rain! I was wondering if you were home!'
She looked up to see the woodcutter waving at her from the front door, a bag of wood slung across his shoulders.
'Hey Gotz!' she called back with a smile. 'Come in! I'll get some tea and biscuits.'

Thursday, Spring 4th, Year 1

Time to work on the farm, though Astra as she walked back to the farm. No, home. Astra could barely remember to say home. "Home, not the farm. It's home now," she said aloud, attracting many curious glances. She sighed.

"It's hopeless," she told herself. "One day, I'll think of it as home. Until then, I'll do what I do." If only I could quit that bad habit of talking to myself, she though, arriving at the farm. She pulled out the bags and tiredly began to plow her field.
