Okay, while reading this post that I'm typing, scroll up to the top of the page and take a look at the size 7 text. If you click on it now, it will take you to the thread that tells you how and why to become a moderator, as well as almost any possible information you need to know to become one. The questions unanswered in that thread, can be asked here, in this thread. But, since that first post in the thread is right now out of view because of the End of the Week Review (where Moderator Requests reviews all applicants to see who will be promoted and who won't), you will have to wait until the review is over so you can read all of the information. ~_^

Hi everyone. The current review has been completed. The reason for the delay was there were some very tough decisions to be made and we couldn't initially decide on some applications to forums. If you've been accepted you will have been contacted, otherwise you'll be getting a denial PM when someone on the team gets around to it. Now:

ATTENTION! THERE HAVE BEEN A COUPLE OF CHANGES!

These changes have been implemented into the Application post which you will see when the denials have been done, however I'm going to point it out here too.

First is that you can no longer apply to forums in the GameBoy Color section. The reason for this is basically the same as the reasons that you can't apply to N64 or other restricted gaming sections. The section is fairly small in terms of active forums, plus it has two section moderators. Most of the activity down there is from game threads or general discussions and the forums are unlikely to get very active again. Also, though it should have been obvious (and we didn't receive any applications to it), you can't apply to the GameGrep forums either, so that has been added for completeness.

The second change is that you can also no longer apply to a forum if it has a temporary moderator. We decided to change this to make it more fair to people waiting to apply to the forum, this way everyone can apply at the same time once the temporary moderator is no longer there. Please note that this did not affect this review, if you applied to a forum that had a temporary moderator you were not given any extra waiting period, however from this point on you will be.

I seen you made the change were if there's a temp mod, you can't apply. I agree with that. But what if you apply, then a few days later a temp moderator comes in the forum you applied for?

Oh boo, no more Gold trials for me now.

So we have to wait until the temporary moderator is demoted until we can apply for that forum?

Okay that's good. Because things like that tend to happen to me once in a while.
