[Request] Africa Forum - Page 9

Read the description of the dstest forum, PL.

Especially since this petition is only a baby compared to the Hispanic countries and (especially) the paranormal forum petitions (I support all three, and feel that the current vein of discussion is related to all of them).

Why is it so much harder to get a localized forum created than it used to be? I've gone into detail on that question the last few times I've asked it, and since it was ignored then I feel no desire to repeat it all. So, simply, why is it so much more difficult these days?

I think someone, TW if Im not mistaken, already addressed this point, pretty much that if a petition that been supported by even just one page of aged&experienced seekers go a long way rather than a 30 pages petition that been supported by newbies that go around signing every single petitions, to impress a certain someone, probably in hope of doin' some overtime on cyberin'.

And that exactly what's been lacking on all the recent petitions, only a handfull of ppl that I've seen state their reasons on why they want the forum made and know what they talking about, the rest is pretty much follow a oneliner fashion: "The forum will be a great addition to neo, add me" or "This will defy be alot fun, add me to the list" or even just "I'll Sign".

Anyway, back to the matter at hand, I already state my opinion on Localized forums, so I wont say it again. But just look at the current state of localized forums, try as hard as I can, cant seem to find threads about religions, lifestyles, cultures or economies anywhere. So until a dramatic change happen to those forums, I dont see this one happening anytime soon.

So why did I posted here? Just wanna improve the size of my E-pen...since I cant improve the size of my real pen, other wise, you'll see me signing every one of these petitions...

Sorry but you don't look very hard do you? On the first page of the UK forum I see threads about culture (here and here) and threads about Lifestyle (here and here) and just a page or two back, some threads about the economy (here and here)

So claiming that the current localised forums don't have these discussions as a reason not to make this forum is unfounded.

I'm not particually in favour of this forum, but whats the problem with just making it and if it fails so what? No problem to anyone.

And if someone gives the excuse of server space, there are hundreds of forums for obscure game that have 6 posts in them that you can delete.

I support this forum because when ever a topic about Africa is posted in IE many people don't really give much input but when a bunch of people are in a seperate forum that care and actually have helpful input then its a differant thing...
