General help on a certain RPG game, general discussion about another installment of a certain RPG series, general discussion about a certain RPG game, the best/worst RPG games, the best cast of characters out of any RPG game, various game threads, etc.

Could easily be done in that game's respective forum.

With the reason you are stating above why are you only saying RPG forum. There are tons of old games that are dead.

If the game is dead then it's dead. If you want you go the faqs or tips section of its profile. There is no need for it's own forum.

So you want a forum to act as a pointer (effectively) to dead forums, therefore meaning this forum would be dead as no one would want to go there to help on games that they don't visit the forums too?

Sorry, I am finding your logic hard to swallow.

Nothing much could be discussed except "best of RPGs", as Cleric said. Also, if a forum is dead, then there's a reason for it; No-one wants to talk about that game!. Generalising maybe 100 forums into one, each with 0.14 PPD, would only get a discussion of 14 PPD, if that. The forum would not be worth creating, and would only cause flame wars. Just because someone asks for help in a general forum, still doesn't mean they'll get an answer. Many questions would be left unanswered, or a link would be provided to an appropriate FAQ/Walthrough, which would achieve nothing special.

What about pen-and-paper RPGs, like Dungeons and Dragons? Couldn't those go in this forum as well? I don't recall there being a D&D 3.5E forum on Neo (though I haven't looked through the Books section much yet).
