forums Option to show only notifications from unsubscribed threads

this is something that annoys me, because i cant differentiate between mentions and quotes from outside of what i monitor. theres not much of a point in being notified for threads you are subscribed in, because youre going to read them anyway, so its kind of redundant there. however, ive missed several threads that ive been mentioned/quoted in because i thought they were just another bunch of notifications from threads im subscribed to.

this would be really handy, and i would love to see it implemented. should provide a little extra activity sitewide if less threads are missed by people.

problem with that is that the thread might have too long a name, and would look tacky. of course, youd get the general idea of where you were notified from by the beginning of the thread title, but having the option to exclude threads you already visit makes just as much sense, and IMO, simplifies things.
