blogs [Suggestion] Blog View Count and Blog/News Article Subscription

The first suggestion is it possible for a view count in the blog section similar to the one in the gallery, I don't see why we have one in the Gallery but not one in the Blogs.

The second one is could we have a subscription button, that sends you a PM every time a new blog is published or your favourite writer writes a new article or review.

I could care less TBH..

I never write in my blog a ton, nor does anybody else close to me.

However, I do occasionally write in my blog and have been in a creative mood lately.

Support this primarily for now, even though I don't publish posts on a regular basis.

Also, I like your first proposal. Maybe even add who viewed your blog how many times if they are on your NeoFriends list.

Support on both of them. I've always been behind when viewing certain peoples blogs, so having a pm notifying me would be wonderful.


I would like to add I would also like a PM feature added to galleries. Though, the downside to this one would be when people mass upload, it might get a bit cluttered.

I rarely visit the Blog section but I do like to read the blogs of a few members (mainly Redemption's if I'm honest) and being notified of there updates would be really handy. Would mean I don't just wait until I stumble across their blog again, months after they've posted it.

As for subscribing to News articles, I'd like the option to subscribe to certain genres and be notified when there's a new article. I always find all the articles I read are informative but by habit I skip over the homepage in favour of the forums which means I bypass the news and reviews parts in the process.

Finally Blog views would definitely be a handy addition for avid bloggers. Obviously it would be good to know that when you've taken the time to write an interesting blog, you'd like to know if there's been people reading it before you go on to write another in the future.
