[ Suggestion ] View Thread Readers

Id like to see if some members i know saw a thread or not.

Like if your waiting for member X to post in a thread because you want to hear what he said but he might view the thread and not answer or not view it at all so your sure

If that doesnt make sense how about this:

It could show either everyone that viewed the thread or only the last 10,5 or 3 just like the main forum page shows at the bottom

Against the idea liek arseball said PM them. Also if they do not wish too view a thread that is there business and you can't make them view the specific thread you want them too.
Also if you wish too make sure the member gets your PM add a recipt (SP?) on the end. [size=1]Don't put the whole message in your title as they may pretend they have not got it and if they don't actully clcik on the PM you won't get the recipt (SP?).

This could be a really long list, as it could go into hundreds and hundreds of people looking at a thread. A better idea may possibly be a link put somewhere near the thread where you can see the people who viewed a thread.

Neoseeker has already went under several changes in the last few days to cope with a massive loss in speed due to the amount of new accounts being created and new members and Guests using the site. Amongst them was a Forum Stats review, whereby Forum Stats are no longer calculated instantly when you click Stats, instead, I believe, they will be calculated once a night once the system is up and running again. [ This is why Stats currently look "frozen" ]

I think a system like this will only seek to return us to square 1 again, with regards to database/server load, due to the immense amount of threads across all forums, all tracking their readers at the same time, but I am not a qualified technician in the server area, so this will need Redemption's backed up comment to close the Suggestion.
