uh.. I don't know. None of those suggested titles sound remotely fancying, first of all because there's already a tag for being a mod/supermod.
Second, having Neo titles on top of forum ranks AND custom titles would be a bit alienating IMO. The only one I like on that list is "contributor" and even there... ------------------- ![]() personal thought of the day: life. is good. bob marley said it, and he's always god damn right about everything.

Maybe some oldies tags could be included for those with access to the Oldies Lounge.

You just want to rub it into the face of everyone who joined after the cutoff, don't you Kirbyking?
I wouldn't mind titles that could potentially replace the posting rank (though that wouldn't help me at the moment...). Like The Hazard, I'm not found of seeing such titles stack into the member pane on top of everything else but replacing the forum rank might not be so bad. In regards to your suggested titles, two of them already exist. I like the contributor idea but 250 seems a bit low when compared to the other requirements for the other titles you've listed, but even for that we can display neopoints in the member pane after we get 100 so we're looking at something similar right there. I guess I'm kinda shooting the idea down here but I think we need more interesting titles that don't already exist and aren't redundant before this can go anywhere. -------------------

Tbh I would rather a Wikistaff tag to be like a moderator tag. XD
(Wikistaff) would look pretty awesome. EDIT: lol ![]() EDITII: Anyway, I like your idea. But perhaps instead of having Moderator like tags, we could just change the member title thing to something like "Neo Friendly" instead of having a whole new 7-odd tags. -------------------

Nah, any tags except moderator, supermod, and wiki staff/contributor are unessesary and will make the site look like a bloated spaghetti-ish mess, IMO.

Would be a lot more constructive if you said more than "No."
quote First postChoose? Are you saying titles like moderator should be unlockables which you can use afterwards any time you like? If so I do not support because these tags are to inform the public that this certain person currently holds a position in this website.

We could have a choice of these over the custom title. |If we have the custom title, posting rank, avatar, posts, join date and any Pre-existing tags then the left side of the post screen would get pretty cluttered.

I like the idea.
I think contributer is good. I'd like to see a NeoTeam tag, for people that have done a lot for Neoseeker. Something along the lines of NeoTeam. ------------------- View my reviews of games! Graphical sig coming soon

'NeoTeam' is too much like NeoStaff. People may get confused as to wether someone is NeoStaff or not.

Hmmm I don't think I'd be for this suggestion. I like how the current custom title system and the forum ranks currently work. You have to get to a certain amount of posts to reach a certain rank; that's how it works on other forums and I like it here. Its part of growing up as a member I'd say, reaching that true seeker (2K Remix) rank.

I think what determines that is how useful and informative it is. Let's be frank, no one will give a monkey crap if you're labeled as "friendly". Not to mention if you've been active on Neo for at least two/three years, you're bound to get that tag sooner or later and so many people holding one would be a bit alienating, and would make tags less... say, apparent.
You shouldn't be able to interchange any of the mod/wikistaff tags to begin with. They're rather important and show what position you're holding and who members can go to if they need help concerning something. I wouldn't mind this idea if there were more.. solid examples for potential titles, those don't seem to cut it. Except contributor, but that's already a stretch. At least to reach it, you'd need much more than 250 points. Around 500-1000, IMO. ------------------- ![]() personal thought of the day: life. is good. bob marley said it, and he's always god damn right about everything.
