[Suggestion] Add No Parrot Posting to the forumwide rules of conduct, etiquette and acceptable behavior

<sup>Currantly, the fourm rules in a lot of forums have "No Parrot Posting" as a rule. Parrot posting is where someone quotes your post and doesn't add anything else/adds QFT. I've read this through 3 times this morning, and can't see the rule here. I suggest that Parrot Posting should be either added, or if it is added make it a bit clearer.

Loungin' is a popular place for this to happen. The same with some clan forums, although it doesn't happen to often anymore in clans.

Yop, the spamming rule already covers this. The supermods could just edit out the current set of rules and add in emphasis for "parrot posting".

Also, the thread title could be just No Parrot Posting as it sends the same message.

I don't see how it matters. So what if someone has the exact same opinion as someone else and chooses to quote and agree with them instead of just saying the same thing?

Oh, and I thought this post was the 100,000th, and Devastate's was 100,002nd...

I don't know if it is necessary, but "forumwide rules of conduct, etiquette and acceptable behavior" could be condensed to "forum rules".

Well, after reading this post I saw that RFS had 100,001 posts.

Also, I actually agree with Chekkaa here. QFT when used appropriately does contribute to a thread because it shows general agreement. This can help weigh out the different sides of a disagreement.

Personally, I think it is a good idea. When I went to the second oldest forum on here, (I think it is the General Audiolovers, Audiophiles one) One of the threads had three pages worth of guests just quoting the first post and not saying anything. It was as if they all wanted the same thing.

I believe this is a good idea. I support.

...For the record, QFT doesn't contribute anything to discussion of value, at least no more than quoting the post itself without saying anything at all. =/
