	Log in to remove this sponsored message I don't see why people are worrying about "confusion" due to differing game elements. I mean, most people already gather in one version forum and ignore the other regardless of which version they actually have. Pokémon Black is the central hub of activity despite people playing or wanting White. I visit Soul Silver despite owning Heart Gold purely because there is no real activity in HG. In the current situation if new visitors stumble across the fairly dead version forums then they could quite easily assume there is no Pokemon community on Neoseeker and move on. I don't see the benefit of trying to split the communities when 95% of the discussions revolve around concepts that are shared between games. I understand that the current situation is due to how the site is coded, but it is still meaningless to have those extra forums there. ------------------- Fire Emblem Awakening - You Want It.

If they are combined the duplicate discussions are cut out and more members are able to join together for meaningful discussions. The main story line of each of them is near identical as I said before with only some optional parts being different, keyword being optional as you yourself highlighted. Legendaries are but some of the few exclusives to each titles which usually is less than 20 each, out of over 600 Pokémon now. Also, the idea here isn't to merge all of them together. It is to merge each new set of games when the forums are made, not months after the fact when distinct communities have formed. you havent played the translation, and so you dont know how dramatically the plot changes in content and message, the white dragon poke represents an idea, same goes for its opposite. nagare its still the same nothing stops from merging all poke forums toghehter and calling them pokemon, each game even if its a 5% they are different. ------------------- Support the Last Story wiki! When I mod'd Megaman Battlenetwork 3: Black Ace, it's sister version, Red Joker, was completely ignored even by people who owned the game, everybody simply congregated in Black Ace, because a larger portion of the people owned that game. The games were almost identical, much like the Poke releases. For game releases that have multiple versions with tiny differences, I think a merge would greatly help out people who were confused why their message wasn't being answered in forum A, when forum B is incredibly active, and is for effectively the same game. For instances in these games where there are differences, it should be rather obvious through context what is being talked about in a thread. 	I support this. Pokémon White is clearly the underdog of the two new release (Black&White), but that's what I'm getting. I hang out in Pokémon Black because of it's popularity, though I post some in both. Seriously though, I support this a lot. Could we merge General Pokémon with this, then move all of that stuff into Pokélounge?

The exact same thing happened with me in HG/SS eventually. 	Aren't they split right now because of how game profiles are created? I seem to recall it being something like that. It'd be nice to have separate profiles for each game but have the forums merged into a forum for all 3 (or both). If there's a good way to do it without removing or merging the game profiles I support.

	A thought came to mind of a potential problem... Wouldn't threads in this "merged" forum have to be either tagged appropriately for other members to distinguish what version a thread is referring to? Or the person would have to say it somewhere in the thread? It could cause a lot of confusion if newer members don't do that and at least one post in a thread would have to be "what version are you talking about?" 	Not really no, the versions are almost always nearly identical. If a member makes a thread specific to a certain version, they could mention that themselves in the title or post if it wasn't obvious from context. ------------------- [twitter]

	If they made a post about a Version only element, then it would usually give itself away as being version exclusive. Like, someone asks for help in Black City, it's obvious they got the version with that location in. The point is, the games are so similar that most threads can apply to both, and any that don't immediately give away what version they are referring to. ------------------- Revenge Solves Everything
