Request: Delete the Mac Gaming forums.

The Mac Gaming Forum isn't a forum, its a category

The Mac OSX + GD forum should be made a subforum of General Mac imo or listed in the same category.

Now that they've been made, deleting them is not a good idea. I say leave them.

What would the purpose be in deleting them? So, they don't get much activity. There are many forums that are pretty much dead but there really isn't a need to delete them.

There are also numerable NGAGE forums on the site as well, not to mention book and movie sections which are covered well enough by Lounges.

They are here because they are part of Neoseeker's data base, which is a big component of any forum on the site. What I can do is add as many Mac forums as I can to the PC section so that all Mac forums go straight to more active PC forums. I've added one or two together, as can be seen with Baldur's Gate but I haven't gone through and really added them all -- counting votes has been taking up most of my time on Neoseeker recently, which hasn't helped.

If you want, I can go through and do a lot of merges in short order. Might get some Mac owners on the site, which would be nice -- folks who have switched out of Windows and Linux likely don't have many places to gather. I'd be against the removal of all those forums.

Salocin also approached me on this and asked for subforums for both to be added. The OSX forum is more for hardware, and the other is for games, so perhaps changing the name of General Mac would be a good start.
