I'd like to suggest the removal of the new PM tab because I think it looks bad. It really serves no purpose.

It provides direct access to your NeoPM inbox when you have no new PMs, that's its purpose. Whether you like it or not doesn't mean it has no purpose.

New members are likely to not know what that flashing yellow thing was when the tab wasn't there. Now, even if they still don't know they can click it, the link to your inbox is right there. I'd really go against removing it, given that it was just added today, and that it's a lot easier.

@ Deathman- Well, i know that. But i don't think many people go through their inboxs that often that it needs a separate box.

I suggest that the PM box would be moved to the right. Since I always click log out by accident. -_-[/hijack]

I think that the PM tab is a good way of helping new members be able to see any new messages that they have in their inbox. Because this would save alot of time and so they don't have to post a new message in the Q&A forum asking "How do I see my PMs?"

Why not move the Log Out to the left side, and move the PM tab to the right or leave it where it is.

I just think log out would naturally be on an end.

And I love the new PM tab. I've always wanted a direct way to get to my PM box.

Obviously, this doesn't have my support, but since other topics have been touched on, I'd like to throw in my two cents regarding that:

• "Log Out" should probably be moved; looks so arbitrarily placed
  
• "PM's" could use a renaming to "NeoPM", or simply "PM". The apostrophe is grammatically incorrect, but without it, I'm afraid people would read it as PMS and just giggle immaturely about it.

I like it although, before if you had a PM you could just click the flashing icon. I suggest move it to the right of my.neoforum

Yeah, I'm not sure what log out is doing up there, particularly in the middle of the links "profile," "PM's," and "my.neoforum." It should be moved elsewhere, perhaps somewhere around forum options.

Also, PM's is indeed grammatically incorrect, NeoPMs or NeoPM would be better in my opinion.

Yeah, log out should be moved to the far left, the extra space there be removed, and PM's should be PMs, NeoPMs, or NeoPM (I favor NeoPM).

Am I the only one that feels logout is in the perfect spot? I have grown used to it being there and it just fits. NeoPm does sound better though.

Despite the fact that we're all used to the current positioning, now that I think about it I think it would make more sense to be in the order: my.neoforum, NeoPM, Profile, Log Out. Either that, or the same thing in reverse. It's really rather petty but it just seems to make more sense for Log Out to be on the side of the link group instead of in the middle.
