	That depends on your gameplay preference. If you prefer brawn throughout the game, choose the monk. If you want a fast member of your team that can use Black Magic after you get your class upgraded, then choose the Thief. It's up to you. 	Easy, Theif, when the Fighter becomes a Knight he will know low-level White Magic, obviously if you have an open slot after having a White Mage and a Black Mage, Theif will balance out the party. Monk should be used when a Red Mage is involved IMHO.
