G4, what a treasure |
|
I saw a trailer for this on G4 TV on cinematech. It looks great. I can't wait to hear more on it.

Just played a demo for this game and it's pretty interesting - the use of the right thumbstick to perform actions is clever and the split screen sequences provide real tension. The amount of ways you can interact with the environment is cool and the different sequences in the diner scene alone makes me hopeful for the rest of the game. There are two reviews on Eurogamer already, giving the game 9/10 and 8/10. -------------------

I'll be heading into town to get this game tomorrow as well, I've been after a solid, plot-strong game for ages. -------------------

I must disagree strongly with Sephiras. Fahrenheit stands out for it's unique gameplay and gripping storyline. It's funny how people are quick to cry Matrix ripoff, when the Matrix itself was a ripoff of many things. No idea is truely original these days and there are some scenes that will remind you of other films. But this does not make the game any less enjoyable. The story may be rushed a little at the end but this was always intended to have a sequel. A sequel I look foward to. This game was given a high score for a reason. It may not make everyone happy, but name me one game that does.

I have to disagree too. I just beat it with one of the endings (the one where you fail) and am doing the other ones right now. Excellent game, but not for everyone. ------------------- ![]()

I can understand both views. I liked this game a lot more towards the beginning. The part where you have to hide the evidence before the cop comes in was very cool! Halfway through the game, it turned into a "End of Days" ritual kind of story and it lost a little of its edge to me. Then near the end it turned into a "over the top" psychic battle which lost my interst even more. The story was like a hybrid between End of Days, The Matrix, and Golden Child.I did like this game a lot, it was a breath of fresh air, but I did like it a lot more when it was just a murder mystery!

I don't know guys, i mean the murder mystery was awesome wich has become cliche because we KNOW its awesome its been said over and over but did NO ONE else think the battles and the Neo-esque transformation of Lucas was COOL? I did, i thought the fact it jumped from a psychological thriller to a sci-fi action game was just cool, plus those fight scenes like on top of the orphanage werent too shabby and with the left and right analog stick movements to keep up with your opponent you feel like you're right there and after you're about as tired as Lucas!

Hi. I'm stuck in this military-sneaking session...The second one, where there are these spotlights and it's night. I just can't sneak even past the first two guards (together) before they spot me.. I've tried something like about 200 times now and I'm getting pissed. Can someone tell me a good tip to get past the guards, please?

I loved the game. Its intense grip, breathtaking, sweat-breaking experience hooked me. The game could have been more thought out but nonetheless its something you need to experience once. ------------------- I'm a mortal. But not like many others. No mortal alive has felt my torment.
