Well, first to inform you guys i am playing the resident evil direct's cut version in the original mode, and this is what i have done so far: When i saw Rebecca i said yes that she can wondered around the house; next when killing the pant 42 i think i cheated by deciphered the code to enter the room where the chemicals are mixed to kill the big plant. Well nothing can be done since it is Chris. I expected some help from Rebecca but she did not appear at all and i ended it up killing it by myself. Then, later on after killing the first hunter i went upstairs in the corridor in the shape of an U where you activated the gas thing... in the room which has two doors but one cannot be opened from outside since the knob it is broken. I find her there i have my shotgun but i cant even save her from getting killed ... what am i doing wrong??? i tried getting the Phyton but the same thing? is there a way to save her?? even though i said yes at the beginning ...

There are two times you can tell Rebecca yes/no. The first is about practicing the piano and doesn't change anything. The second is about staying with Chris. If Rebecca didn't show during the Plant 42 fight then it's likely Chris somehow told her no. (Although having Chris enter the chemical room may mess that up. I'm not sure.) More in this thread. if you said "no" to rebecca... If you see a cutscene of Rebecca being attacked upstairs you've got to get there quickly and kill the Hunter before it kills Rebecca.

I think you're taking too long to get to Rebecca then when you do get there she's either dead or about to die. I can't quite recall if you find her dead or if the Hunter kills her as soon as you walk in.

	i didnt hear any yelling from becky i ran up stairs killed all the hunters quickly and theres a hunter standing there in the room where you get the herb file but there is no body or nothing there, just a hunter.....??

	Same thing happened to me, she helped me with the Plant 42 and was alive and well, and when i went to fight the hunters in the spot she gets attacked she was never there.... is she still alive or did i do something wrong?

Continue on and see if she shows up. It may be possible for her to get attacked outside the downstairs save room, the one where the dogs can attack outside of. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
