	Is there another way of going to the 3rd island exept the bridge? or a cheat to make both bridges work or do they do this in time?

Yes you can get a speeder and run it to ground on staunton (near the stadium). Then you can push the boat past the barrier. Then you push it into the water to get to the 3rd island. It takes like half an hour to do. This trick also works in Liberty City Stories as well.
