I've shared this idea a long time ago, but I'm going to keep saying it until it's implemented.
The idea is that AC games should have a feature that lets you convert your AC to a code (a series of letters and numbers or various characters) that would be significantly shorter than typing out every detail of your AC. The purpose of this is to share your AC design in a super-efficient way, and as we all know, sharing your AC designs is a huge activity in the AC community.
That way, instead of typing this to show people your AC:
HEAD CHD-09-OXI
CORE MCL-SS/RAY
ARMS CAL-33-ROD
LEGS CLL-SECTOR
BOOSTER MBT-NI/GULL
FCS VREX-F/ND-8
GENERATOR MGP-VE905
RADIATOR RMR-SA44
INSIDE -
EXTENSION -
BACK UNIT R CWR-S30
BACK UNIT L CWM-HA30-4
ARM UNIT R MWG-SRFE/8
ARM UNIT L MWG-HGBL-90
OP-S-SCR, OP-E/SCR, OP-S/STAB, OP-E/CND, OP-L/TRN, OP-SP/E++,
OP-CLPU... etc..
It could be something like this:
2039-K238-13H7
Here's an example of how I imagine it would be:
Your AC is finished, you enter the Garage. There is a selection that lets you convert the current AC to code, or input a code. You choose to convert your AC to code. You then go online and say, "Check out my AC! It's name is [name] and his code is xxx-xxx..." Someone then writes down the code, goes to their AC garage, and inputs the code. From here it either creates the AC or informs the person that they do not have the required parts to create the AC.
If you like this idea, go to the AC forums everywhere and let them know. I don't care if I get credit for this idea, I just want it implemented. If you want to copy this message or any part of it, feel free to do so, giving me as much or as little credit as you want.
