Hanging from helicopter ..I keep dying

OK. This is gonna sound weird, but try it.
Tilt the controller towards you, so the triggers are facing up.
Put your thumbs on the triggers, and tile the controller left and right, really quickly. I've only trid it on pS2, so the actual triggers of the Xbox may make it hard, but perhaps turning ot upside down, too might help.
Like i said, weird, but it works. if THAT don't work, turn the action level to easy for the sections you can't do.

i have the same problem only that in my case it is because of the game(it freezes/crashes for about two or three seconds the second time when i'm supposed to press left and right arrows very quickly) and Lucas falls down and i'm helpless... i can't do a thing because of the game's freezing (2-3 seconds)... please help me if you know what can be done in order to fix this problem...thank you!
