I agree bamman, i don't hate any console. hence, why im not scared of any one of them getting more sales, better rep.. whatever.

I read someone up there say "only on xbox". But if you haven't noticed, it started way before xbox. SNES did it, but more recently, gamecube does it. "Only for" is their slogan.

This is obviously a sales gimmick. They want people to realize, this game just for this console. And if you want it, you better buy the system in order to play it.

While i realize it may say "Only on Xbox" on splinter cell, it actually meant..

It's just the fact that they'd have the nerve to do something like that is what pisses me off. It's obvious that buying Rare isn't going to pay off in any way.

Exactly DBZ, I own all three, and if you like PS2 for any reason, then there's a game to like on Xbox if you give it a fair chance. If you like RPG's on PS2, there's no way that you can't like at least one of these games: Phantasy Star Online Ep. 1&2, Morrowind, Star Wars: KOTOR. If you like racing on PS2, there's no way you can't like at least one of these games on Xbox: Moto GP, Sega GT, Project Gotham 1 & 2. If you like any FPS's on PS2, there's no way you can like AT LEAST ONE of these games: Halo, Counter-Strike, Ghost Recon, Wolfenstein (Online only on the Xbox version). If you like action games on PS2, there's no way you cannot like at least one of these games on Xbox: Hunter the Reckoning, Otogi, Dino Crisis 3, Panzer Dragoon Orta, and Brute Force. The list just goes on and on.

Plus, all of the consoles have their pluses, and all of them have their negatives. I like pretty much all my consoles equally, except I find myself playing Xbox the most, because I'm usually playing mutli-platform games and those games are almost always the best on Xbox. If I had to go on exclusives, my GameCube would edge out the competition, but generally speaking, I like them all equally. It's basically pointless to argue over which is better, because it's all opinion. However, I have to agree, a lot of these people who say that they honestly have played it and just don't like it, are full of it in many cases. If you spend a considerable amount of time with the best games on Xbox in your favorite genres, then there's no way you can't like at least something. I'll give it to you that you might like PS2 or GCN better, but there's no way you just can't like Xbox if you play it with a clear mind.

Ugh. Why do you always have to keep going "Bug Lamp, how can you not like (Halo/Morrowind/Doom/Fable/Perfect Dark/GoldenEye/whatever)?" I don't like them plain and simple. And yes, I have played the ones that have already been released, and Fable doesn't look that interesting.

No one cares if you don't like those games. That's just you. How does that prove your statements against the XBOX? How does that prove that XBOX is failing?

"Whatever" huh? So I take it the reason of you not liking a game is because "It's on XBOX" or because "The company that makes it sucks because they belong to XBOX". That over game quality. Gee, you really know how to choose your games.

Bug Lamp, could you tell my what you're most favorite games on PS2 are? I asked you this before, because I can guarantee that there are games on Xbox that you'd like. Maybe you just don't want to tell me, because god forbid that you'd ever like anything on Xbox.

Then why? I'll understand you may just not have interest in it, but hating it...?

How could you think Rare isn't a good investment either? Rare is the company that practically made SNES and N64 famous with their version of Donkey Kong, their version of 007 - Goldeneye(the most popular n64 game ever), Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, and Perfect Dark. Just about All of Rare's games were on the top of N64 lists. Same with Rare's games in SNES.

Now with that in mind, you actually think that Rare is a bad investment for XBOX...? Not counting your own opinion of those games ...as if that actually mattered. ¬.¬
