Has this ever happened to anyone? I press the main power button but nothing happens. The red light on the reset button doesn't light up and even the little ventilator at the back doesn't start spinning. Does anyone know what to do?

I think you should ask in the ps3 forum. You will have ALOT more luck there.

Sounds like you probly fried the thing. one way to tell is to smell the inside of it and if it smell funny...ya fried it.

I did plug it in and I didn't fry it. It works again, since I took it to a guy who fixed it. It still gives me the disc read error, though.
