Now that I am apart of the club who else has beat it on deity? What Civs have you beat it with and what type of wins?

Yes it is hard i have only got it for the americans so far i have to got back and do it from the Zulu's and working on the french right now.

What is the turns limit?

I got an economic victory on deity with Indians

I wanna try the Indians because of the resources bonus that could be a huge boost in the beginning

got a cultural with the greeks had to nuke the french though they were really close to a tech.

I am also in Deity Club. I keep trying to win in other ways, but I usually end up winning Domination. (I accidentally take all the capitals when I start conquering the world.) The general strategy I find that works the best for me is to quickly get to democracy, research until I get combustion (tanks) then swap over to communism and just start building tons of units. (Building factories in all the cities that I can makes it so I really start pumping out the units quickly) I have been fairly consistant in being able to win domination victories around the year 2000 with this strategy. So far in Deity, I think the quickest domination I had was around 1970 or so.

Winning at Deity level is actually relatively easy. Select the money is all that matters scenario. Rush production of warriors, then try to take down as many barbarians as possible. If you're lucky you will get a couple of spies before your enemies. Use these to rob your enemies capitals. Hopefully ending up with around 2500 credits. Rush production of the Hanging Gardens to boost population to 9, then start producing settlers. Standard game from here. Go for the domination victory, but save before taking down the last enemy capital. Once you've won at domination, you can reload and pursue the other victory conditions which should be really easy by now. By doing this you will get gold tags on the statues for all the victory conditions. Nice !!!!!

yay iwon a deity does that mean i get to join this stupid club where you brag about winning a diety or two ive had the game for 2 weeks now and i have the americans the aztecs the romans the english and the french with all four win types on deity whoop de doo when you have won with all civs on deity then mabye that could call for celebrations but one win hah come again later when you are a little better at these games children

Are you people serious? I've gotten every victory, with every civ in the game on diety. I have beaten the game without changing govs, I've beaten the game before 1000ad, and I've beaten the game with only one city(culture victory), all on diety. The ai in this game is a joke. For a real measure of ability, you must play multiplayer. For an idea on how to get one up on the ai, try focusing on economy instead of production, you can buy all units and buildings, and wonders in the game and if you don't achieve domination, you can fall back on the world bank wonder. This method is one way to get a relatively quick victory, every time.
