how do i capture some1s capital ie. the guy west of roman start point i got tons of troops surrounded (archers horses and warrior armies all level elite) i keep sendin attacks but dont get anywere, i wanna buy the game but not if i dont know how to do this help

Firstly, you need to send in a Spy, then you need to destroy their fortiifcations, thirdly you need to use your Army (Get three of the same type of units on a square and press triangle) and use them to attack. The 'Oracle' wonder will also tell you if your about to lose a battle

lol what i do is just make tons of legions and warriors(some lightning) and just send waves at them

thats one way. i like to attack with a small force, have it retreat and then have them attack my pike men army since it has such high defense. also use hills to your advantage if ur on a hill you get +50% attach and defense. alot of cities are next to hills. also think about that when building a city. dont build next to a hill. better to build on top. make thee bastards fight up hill.

Actually you don't get any bonus for building on a hill, in fact, building on a hill turns it into a normal terrain

woops looks like ur right but its better than building next to it. it effectively cuts out an advantage they could of had.
