Ladder tournament:

Singles:
There will be a ladder tournament on our first tournament. In this
one, you will go head to head in versus mode. One song, and the winner
will advance. We will use DDRUK.com scoring rules: +2 for perfect, +1
for great, 0 for good, -1 for boo, -2 for miss. Player with the
highest score after one song will advance. Players will choose the
song and difficulty at the time of battle, if a general consensus
cannot be reached, the judges will choose song and difficulty for you.
Both players must use the same difficulty for even scoring. Play will
continue until we have one winner.

Doubles:

Same as above, except you will have a partner. Judges will add the
scores of you and your teammate, then another team of two will play
the same song, same difficulty. The other team's scores are counted,
then the team with the highest score advances. Play continues until we
have one winner.

Freestyle tournament:

For those of you who like to bust a move on your dance pad, this
tournament is for you. One person at a time will go out on the dance
pad, pick a song and difficulty, single or double, and rock out in
front of three judges. These judges will score your performance on a
scale of one to ten. Best two out of three heats will determine your
score. Winner will be determined from the two heats. Best of luck to
those who will play, you better get practicing!

As of yet, all tournaments will be done on DDRMAX2 for the PS2. I'm
spreading this around on the DDR sites to get sponsorship from
RedOctane, who will likely supply pads and prizes for contestants.
