i like zero the most but i can't deny x's abilities aswell hes good to i just like zero better swords kick ass!

I like Unknown X because he is sooooo UNKNOWN and MYSTERIOUS!

I don't really favor one over the other, I like both, but if I had to choose one it would be Zero, simply because we have countless MM games with "Blue Boy" shooting stuff, Zero's innovative and the way he learns attacks are like a breath of fresh air. But that's not to take anything away from X, I like X...when he doesn't sound like a girl (X4)

That's only if you like to stretch battles out. If you're going for speed like I often do, Zero can do the job faster because he doesn't have to charge his weapon. Speed battles are fun. My favorite fight was my 11 second flawless victory over Dynamo on X5 in Extreme mode with Zero.

I like Zero more mainly for his saber. I am willing to use a buster, but I always prefer short-range weapons over guns. For example some of my favorite Gundams are Epyon, Tallgeese, and Sandrock. Many video game and Anime characters that I like use short-range weapons: Cloud Strife and Sephiroth from FF7, D from Vampire Hunter D, Jubei Kipagami and Hisusu Mushiro from Ninja Scroll, Kagato from the first Tenchi Muyo series, etc.

It does take longer with X if you don't have the boss's weakness otherwise the Ultimate armor finishes them off in a pinch.

That's true if you just Giga Attack him to death. The problem there is the fact that I think using boss weaknesses and Giga Attacks during the battles is cowardly. For me, weaknesses and Giga Attacks are just finishing moves. I learn to beat every boss without special weapons and Giga Attacks so that I must truely learn their fighting strategies to win. Then if I am to use a weakness, I can use it all the more effively.

Here's where they cancel each other out. Zero's Saber is very powerful, and can kill anyone in a few swift cuts. However, it's a short range weapon, meaning to get right in enemy's faces. X's Buster can keep him a safe distance from his foes. But, it's a very weak weapon.

Having a X ID you would think i'd prefer X over Zero, but I don't. I enjoy playing as Zero.
