I Don't know if someone has already done this. If they have then sorry, if not... Ever beaten back an unstopable force from certain defeat? Ever anhilated an entire city using only archers? Or do you just have a fun or cool game you would like to talk about? Well then, welcome to the Battles thread! ------------------- ![]() T.D.I A97

re: Battles |

I've beaten several battles in which I was heavily outnumbered, but they fall into nothing in comparison to my most astounding battle. I was playing as the Turks and was besieged by the Byzantine empire. The only units I currently had in my city were a few spearmen, mailed knights and a general. The Byzantine's outnumbered me by about 800 men. They had feudal knights and several other units including mounted archers. The odd's were definitely against me. I knew that if I would let them besiege my castle I'd sure lose. So I counter-attacked them, using my spearmen as bait hoping I could flank them with my horsemen. I managed to get the enemy numbers down to about 2 units with only my general left. I had already given up all hope seeing I only had about 20 knights left, but kept on charging them to take as many with me as I could. After two charges I ended up with just my general. I thought that he would quickly meet his demise after I sent him to his supposedly last charge, straight at a unit of fuedel knights. The funny thing is, he didn't. ------------------- ![]()
