I havnt played a Sony console since i got an X-Box 360 a few years ago, however my cousin has recently given me his older PSP as he upgraded to a newer model. I was a massive, MASSIVE fan of the first 3 resident evil games and heard i can get R.E2 and R.E3 on the PSP. However from reading around on different forums it seems to only be available via the internet and not actually on USD. Is this accurate ? Second of all... how would i go about getting copies ? Perticularly of R.E2 as it is my outright favourite game of all time. (Also i'd like to know the legitemate way of obtaining a legal copy, not a torrent or pirate). My qeries In short: 1: Are resident evil 2, and 3 legitematly and legally available on PSP at all ? 2: Is it true that i cannot obtain them on disc and must download them ? 3: How would i go about downloading them ? I have 0 experience with Sony online and do not own ay other sony consoles or an online sony profile of any kind. I understand this may be alot to answer, so any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks folks. I'm not online myself, but here's what I know. The PSX versions of the games are download-only, off of PSN (The PlayStation Network). PSN is free. The games are not. According to this thread, "...there's no "official" RE games on the PSP...", but you can play them on your PSP if you can manage to download them. So you've got to get online with your PSP somehow. You might want to ask about that on the PSP forum. There's a known problem with Resident Evil 3: Nemesis on the PSP. Check out Glitch in RE3 to find out more about it. (That's the same thread as previously referenced.) I agree that they're great games. I've got RE1: DC and RE2 on PS1 disks. Started them up a few years back just to see how bad they looked on my spiffy HDTV. The graphics were ancient, but I couldn't stop playing! Unlocked everything in all scenarios. They really knew about gameplay back then. Hope that helps. Good luck.

	Excellent response JoveHack, Thanks for the detail, I'll check those other forums out and see what i can find out. Thought id be waiting weeks for a response in a forum about such an old game. And hell yeah, if i do manage to get a hold of R.E2 i'll be completing all scenario's with both characters, man... i miss R.E2 like hell. Cheers.

	For the record, there are also PC versions of RE1, RE2 and RE3. Just make sure you avoid a version of RE3 by a company called "XPLOSIV". For some mysterious reason unknown to mortal man, they removed Mercenaries mode, and changed the game so that you cannot replay after a completed game. EVIL. -------------------

	true i bought RE 3 on pc xplosive no merc mode and all costumes are unlocked ther is no point but what do you expect for 75p
