I want the rocket launcher with unlimited ammo but I can't get an A ranking. Finishing in under 2 hours is easy but getting the ranking is difficult (I always get B or C) so if anyone got an A tell me how plz!!!!

well, there's no real trick to it...just try to finish as quickly as possible...in the 1st part of the game (from beginning to b4 i get to Police Station), i only shot @ 2 zombies & killed 1 (i killed the girl zombie on the ground & shot down the standing guy zombie in the bus)...that really cuts down on time. i'm not sure, but i think killing the Brad Vickers zombie will improve upon ur grade...run thru the whole game, cuz that really cuts down on time also...

& don't bother getting the sub-machine gun. don't do the sub-machine gun sidequest in the basement if ur playing as Leon, cuz it's a major waste of time & ammo!

it's just a matter of finishing the game b4 the 3 hr mark...

i'll try to find some other methods too...i forgot how i got the A ranking ...

Edit: o ya, don't use First Aid Sprays, they lower ur grade. try not to get hurt too much, 'k?

Yup dont use a single first aid spray your automatically on a B then. Stick to double green herbs. If you can finish the game in under 3 hours like you say you can then you should get A no bother.

K, thanx 4 the help. i was using health sprays so that's prob why i got a B. cheers!

For the glorious "A" rank, you must:

- Not use First Aid Sprays
- Finish in less than 3 hours
- NEVER save the game
- Don't use special weapons (with infinite ammo such as the Rocket Launcher)
- Save time by skipping all the sidequests you can

You can still get an A rank if you save. But don't save too much.

The game can be seen as a point based system. 300 as perfect. You need a 260 or 270 for an "A". You lose 10 points for FAS, 10 for a save I think 10 for continue. There was a site on about 2 years ago that had RE2 and 3 quantified. They are gone now as far as I know. Aside from the game data, the site was uninteresting with few posting

Absolutley correct! I have a hard time dealing with multiple IMs, and surfing. Something got crossed. Half the time I think I'm typing to one person and actually send it to the wrong person who has no idea what I'm talking about.

The easiest way to get a A rank on the first scenario is to:
Use only herds
Don't use the special weapons
get under 2hour
And don't save

herds???

even though i try to avoid this but cheat your ass off using a cheat disk

Luke17 is correct there, its easily done it you practice, you'll find scenario b a lot harder if it's your first time playing

I think you have to save under 12 times in less than 2 1/2 hours with no First Aid Sprays to get an A ranking for sure.
