	is there anyway to beat the purple dragon with your small red dragon at the beginning of the game?

	I've tried this several times before, but it's tough. Either there's no way in hell you can beat the purple dragon, because it's rigged, OR you'll just have to be VERY VERY lucky. He's quite the bitch.

	There is no way to beat him he's there to show you how to play the game. I know because if you use a gameshark and beat him you get a screwed up screen and the guy says you're dragon died. So there is no way to beat him.

	Well, it's basically programmed into the game that you leave this battle with no dragon, and even if you DO survive the battle, it still says your dragon died, and you still begin the game without a dragon... --Kiryn Silverwing http://www.otherkin.org/vexis58/games/dragonseeds/home.html

	Yeah, I was able to get past the purple dragon at the beginning without dying. The game still takes your dragon away, as if it did actually die.

	I know this is a really old thread and all that, but I just started playing this game again and confirmed by myself that there is no way to keep you baby dragon, it doesn't matter if you beat the purple dragon, your dragon will just go away as if it had died. -------------------
