I do

I have been doing it for about a year, I did a bit of Judo before it, but I like Ju-Jitsu a lot more. It really keeps you active and motivated. Also teaches you good life practices and helps you protect yourself.

What kyu are you? I think I'm about 9th..

I have taken some Martial Art classes and they were OK. I learned things, but never used them in a fight. When your thought to do Martial arts it goes slow and step by step, but when you fight you don't wanna waist your time putting your arm around their head and making them trip to the ground. Waist of time and plus you gotta be fast to do those things.

I do want to learn ju jitsu though.

I have. It was in October. Out of all four (4) categories that I participated in, I got 3 1st places and 1 4th place.

Yeah had to wear padding they just held me back

" let me at 'em"

I had to use padding also. That sucks because in a real life fight you won't be able to use protection or anything.

well they made us wear a head set adn mouth piece if consider that armor, but this was a local competition
