Core

I'm getting pretty sick of looking down and seeing a flabby midsection everyday. So I've begun to try to create a great core workout that I can do everyday that will get me the fastest results possible. The only problem is I've always ignored my core when I used to workout and I know almost no exercises at all. All I have to work with is planks, and though they seem like they're effective, I want some more. What are some great exercises for the core? Not just abs, but my entire core. Also, how fast will it take to get at least a four pack? As a mark, I can see the outline of my abs and have a decent looking V-thing going on, but when I do planks and look at my stomach, there's still skin hanging from where my abs are, but nowhere else. Everything around it looks decent.

You don't get abs by doing core work. Core work helps your body support itself, but it's not going to give you abs that you wouldn't have otherwise. Like HBK said, abs is about eating.
