Ok, I'm in one of those health situations that's hard for me to pinpoint what's wrong. I've been having pain in my right shoulder and the right side of my neck for a few weeks. The only injury, if I could call it that, that might be related is a popping sound I heard in my right shoulder when getting p from the floor a few days before this happened. Anyways, I changed my sleeping habits by putting an extra pillow under my head, and it felt better... for a few days. Now the right side of my neck and right shoulder are in pain again, and the right side of my neck is swollen, like noticeably.(Right side of neck looks like the Hulk, left side looks like peter parker... bit of an exaggeration, but you get the picture.) The lymph nodes on the right side of my neck are swollen as well, even right under my jaw. I did have cold symptoms around when all this started. So I'm wondering if it's allergies or a cold. If it is a cold, are my lymph nodes swollen because of the cold, or my neck being hurt? Does my neck pain have something to do with this potential cold, or are they separate issues? Why are these problems exclusively on my right side? If it were a cold causing my lymph nodes to swell, I figure that they would swell on both sides of my neck. Maybe it's an infection? I just don't know. And my right ear is feeling a little blocked up today. And finally, this all comes with rather extreme fatigue and overall ache. I just finished my weekend and I slept so much. More than I can recall in a long time. I slept last night from 9pm to 7:30am, and I still feel tired at work today. That raises more questions for me. I did work a lot just before my weekend. I'm in tv and do a lot of camera operation. We worked 26 hours in two days, 16 of those hours on Friday, and one of the shoots was 2 hours non-stop. If you've done camera operation, you know that that can be pretty taxing. Having to stand up in one place with your arms up for so long. That's one of the things I'm looking at as the cause of all this. Then we had a quick turn around so I got little sleep and started another 9 hour shift. But still, I slept more than ever that weekend. I don't know if my fatigue simply has to do with my job, or a possible infection, or my neck pain. Or if my neck pain is the result of some weird infection. Bleh, what's wrong with me?
