Knee issue

Just a bit of advice needed. A couple of weeks ago I was playing football (soccer) and injured my knee. Carried on playing the rest of the 40 mins or so which probably wasn't a great idea. Anyway next day it ballooned up and almost doubled in size. Couldn't walk for a few days and was hobbling around the house. Didn't go see a doctor or anything just thought I'd wait for it to go back to being alright and it did. After playing football now though, normally twice a week, it hurts for a day or 2 afterwards.

Should I exercise it more or relax on it? The pain isn't constant, it seems to come and go throughout the day and it's not really bad but it's enough for me to put off football for a few weeks.

So rest it for now then limber up before I go back to playing. Aye aye cap'n.
