Anyhow, good idea with the GD, it's a good place to ask those random little questions without having to create a thread, was thinking of suggesting a "General workout questions" sort of thread, but this works.

What would be some good exercises for basketball players, besides shooting and rebounding. I'm thinking upper strength for shooting, and leg power for sprinting down the court. Although, the problem is, that I don't know what kind of workout method I should be using.

Ohai, a GD. Anyways, Evanster just wondering but why exactly can't you squat? Because trust me squatting is one of the most important lifts to do, especially for football players. So if you're the type of guy who just doesn't wanna do them (no offense to anyone) you really need to just man up and start repping them. They help.

And anyways, a question of my own. Is there any advantage to doing Hang Cleans over Power Cleans? Because last summer during football lifting we did power cleans, but now this year we have some new meathead strength coach and he doesn't have us do any Power Cleans, only Hang.
