How do Video Games affect your health?

Well the most I've played is 9 hours straight (yeah I did eat and went toilet when needed). I didn't feel much, but when playing on handhelds it's a different story. My eyes start to hurt because of constant focus on the small screen for a long period of time, so I just stop.

I've found it doesn't have that much an effect on me, any effects I've had generally have been temporary (usually headaches and eye strain). The worst I've had is what I call "Nintenthumb", which was brought on by that non-hand-friendly GameCube controller (and hundreds of hours playing it), to this day I sometimes still feel pain/discomfort in my right thumb at the hand, but part of that might be that said thumb is double-jointed. It doesn't stop me from playing or doing everyday stuff.

It's pretty much your decision when it comes to becoming lazy and procrastination. Other than that then focusing your vision on a TV for too long (I mean for hours straight) strains your eyes, especially if the lights are off. That applies to computer usage too.

Anyway, playing too much videogames can affect your eye sight and it can also affect your focus as well.

I never play a video game more than 2 hours.
