every time i start the game i get: problem with driver enumeration. and every time i try to install a patch i get: old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. no update done since file contents do not match. i don't think i should be getting that since i just installed it | |

Your drivers may be outdated so it wont let you play. So you might want to get a better driver your 3d card can also be part of the problem to. I never had any troubles just slow mouse speed but thats minor | |

My game has slow mouse speed as well as the same problem you brought up when instaling the patches. "old file not found". I have an awesome video card with the latest patches for everything. I like the game, it seems to be programmed poorly. Any solutions???? | |

I am also getting a "Problem with driver enumeration" error. i have tried to install every patch and to no avail. It seems my version was 1.04 and i installed the patch, unstill it got to the missions and couldn't complete. I have an nVidia GeForce2 MX/MX400 64MB graphics card, 450MHz processor, 128MB RAM, and a Yamaha OPL3-SAx soundcard. | |

That explained why none of the patches worked, since we couldn't find a 1.04 to 1.05 patch. The driver enumeration problem was a result of the ATI driver. The card in this system is a Radeon 9200SE. We let XP install whatever driver it wanted when it saw the card, and that was 6.14.0.6462. Installing the latest ATI catalyst driver (version 8.31) eliminated the driver enumeration issue and now the game plays in Windows98 compatibility mode. | |
