i LOVED E.V.O (or was it evolution) the game where u started as a fish and had 2 evolve 2 survive

(also can some please tell me if there are any ((good ))r.p.g.s. for snes i have the modded 14 systems disk for xbox so if its a good r.p.g. for snes,turbgrapix 16,32x ect i got all of them but dont know wich are any good. b.t.y. i have played all the saga gen ones

Chrono Trigger is my favorite although I also liked that E.V.O. one too. I don't consider Zelda an RPG.

without any doubt...the best i've ever played was ff6 and i played all the games you've spoken about. also very good is lufia 2 and chrono triger...breed of fire is pretty cool althoug its seems to miss something in there and i don't know what...

I never remember seein Super Mario RPG..i now have it on a rom..did it come out just as another console was comeing out??

Dont believe so, it out before the n64 for sure. I also think it was relaesed for GBA/DS? But still, a great game! Was one of the few and (first) that actually made me want to DO everything.

The only Zelda that can be considered an RPG is the second one "The Adventure of Link." All the other games are action/adventure. One thing that I believe to be critical to an RPG, an EXP system, is missing in all Zelda games except The Adventure of Link.

In Zelda III I can clear an enemy filled area out. My reward for it would be some rupees and maybe a few items. In an RPG I would get EXP that can be used towards leveling up. Collecting heart pieces is not the same as leveling up.

Now I'm not saying that Zelda III is a bad game, it's actually a really good one, but it isn't an RPG.
