I have played a game that had the same basic combat system as Tales of Phantasia for the SNES, but I can't remember its name. At the beginning, you are on a ship that is carrying a valuable sword which speaks to the main character. And after some gameplay, there are little crystals or such that add elemental attributes to your characters' weapons, making them stronger and giving them the ability to gain new moves.

If someone knows of that game, let me know the name of it. I've played it once, but forgot to pay attention to the name. I'm trying to find it, but can't think of its name.
