re: new connector

It depends. If I plan on playing the game again I'll keep the cart in there otherwise I put it back in storage.

re: new connector

My nes is not working as well anymore. The games now take some time to get to work, but when they do they will play fine.Is this how it always be with the nes?If I ever see a top loader around I think Im going to grab it.
They seem pretty rare,Ive never seen one in person.

re: new connector

I always took my games out and almost never had problems with them, if I did I just connected them to my Game Genie and they usually worked fine. As for the Toploader or NES 2 as it was also called, be careful as it has its own significant flaws. NES cartridges weren't made for vertical insertion so there is still the risk of gameplay issues, even the system crashing. If you still want one, eBay. They'll probably start at $50-150.
