Stealing from Death

how do you steal from Doom?

I just take what I want and hope he isn't blocking the passageway to the stairs or I use a digging claw or waterwalk collar.

Ok, but what can you steal from Doom? I have this game but never really played it often.

A-ha, you're a shoplifter!

Doom is the shopkeeper in the dungeons. You can steal whatever he's selling. Gathering everything and stepping on a warp trap works too, I think. But I've got so much money and so many items I'm maxed out. I simply don't steal anymore. It's fun though:)

Is this game already out? Because I have never ever heard of it before until now. Hmmmmmmmm, is it any good?

It was very kiddie oriented. You play Chocobo as he exploreds randomly generated dungeons gaining strength and treasure as well as allies. It was very VERY Chibi. I have a copy and it is good for a sort of FF -esque romp.

re: Stealing from Death

the game is good only to certain people. as for me, i go on and off of the game.

check vgmuseum.com for pics.

i thought you ment stealing as in using Mog or turning into a thief. ive stolen from him lots of times. warp pads work fine. he'll shut the door if you try to steal, but if you go anywhere outside of his shop, he begins the chase. i once went in a shop that had a strip of non-shop land to the right of the shops' interior, and i went there when i hadnt bought the items. he started chasing me. oh, and the game remembers how much money you have stolen from Doom. just check the start menu and hold that other button down.

re: Stealing from Death

whenever me and my sis (or dad) play, I always try and kill death in his shop, it hasn't worked yet. But if I get enough hours, I could kill him.

re: Stealing from Death

i always steal from death ^^, to do this you need to search the WHOLE dungeon for the exit, if its not next to deaths store then yours stuck, ok now you see the exit and its near his store, pick the item you want up and kick it out the shop, after you kick it out run out and get it, then run as fast as you can towards the exit because a whole bunch of deaths pop up
