Battlefront II, D-link router and DNAS Error-612

Hello,

I've been trying to play Star Wars Battlefront II for a very long time via the internet but my PS2 won't connect to the DNAS server when plugged into my D-link DI-514 wireless router. The game connects fine but times out with an Error-612 at the DNAS Authentication step.

Network Error (-612) There was no response from the DNS server, Please check your network configuration.

I did everything instructed on both the PS2 website and on pretty much any other site I could find on the subject but still NO LUCK.

I've come across many people with this problem but no [working] solutions. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

well i was having loads of problems with the dnas error 612 but in the end i got it sorted, take a look at my thread on this site to see how i did it.
