Project Phantasma Only cores

I'm really having a hard time assembling a rather decent A.C. since I can't find a copy of the first A.C.(thus missing out on cool weapons such as the Karasawa, Moonlight, and such, and since a lot of A.C. setups on the web ALWAYS use them... sigh). Any suggestions on A.C. setups for arena and missions? I'd really appreciate any help, especially with humanoid type legs. HELP!!!

re: Project Phantasma Only cores

Well, you can build a very good AC without Moonlight or Karasawa or any other "missed weapons." Those pulse rifle/gun thingys that shoot light blue halos are really good if you're an energy-type person (right hand weapon).

Assuming you have Project Phantasma, you can substitute the Karasawa with a XPP..blablabla something. It's a laser rifle of some sort that is really expensive, but carries more ammo than the Karasawa and contains more potential damage (Damage X # of ammo). (That's if you wanna follow those AC recipies.)

Things to note for making ACs:
-Solid ammo weapons help conserve energy for boosting around, but are expensive (in missions, not arena or VS).
-Energy weapons deal a fair amount of damage, but consume energy, obviously.
-Having both types of weapons helps (Solid during flight, energy during ground maneuvers), but is not necessary.
-Things with big explosions can temoporarily blind your friends when you battle with them. HEHEHEE...

The best AC is the one YOU can handle best. Customize it to your playing habits. (Ex. if you don't use your left hand blade, don't put it on. Save the weight for something else, like a bigger right hand gun or something.)

Things to ask yourself:
-Energy, solid, or both?
-Light n fast, or armoured n slow?
-Long range, mid range, short range, or in your face?
-Explosions, or direct damage?
-Flyer or walker/runner?
-Favorite weapons?
-Favorite colors?

Anyway, the point was supposed to be:
There is no "One size fits all ultimate AC."

Also, here's A little help in the way of quick extras, not that I support cheats and tricks, but I'll let you choose, besides, most of them don't help game-play and are just for fun .

re: Project Phantasma Only cores

Thanks for the advice! I never thought this thread'll get any answers! I've managed to defeat ACP somehow, using a light 'n fast AC, though I'm still in a dillema about using energy weapons. While my flight skills are really crappy, I do boost on the ground a lot, so I end up using energy too...

What peeves me most about being unable to play AC1 is being unable to get the Rebel Plus options and the Overweight code... Is the overweight code available in ACP or do I still have to have an old AC1 save?

I'm running through AC:MoA again, just for old time's sake...

Yeah, some of us watch the old AC forums from the shadows, always glad to help the odd person who comes by . Anyway, if you can get your hands on an Action Reply or something to that effect that works for PS1 games that should work, I used an Action Reply Max to get Human Plus in AA since they took out the Data Transfer option here in the UK (only after I'd completed it though ), good luck .
