help i am a newbie tell me what the best best prime cup team is PLEASE!!@!!

First, there is no such thing as a "perfect team".

But here is my team, which has never failed to win the Cup in 12 attempts:

UMBREON@miracleberry Mean Look/Double Team/Baton Pass/Moonlight

SKARMORY@brightpowder Curse/Drill Peck/Whirlwind/Rest

BLISSEY@leftovers Curse/Double-Edge/Heal Bell/Softboiled

SUICUNE@mint berry Ice Beam/Roar/Mirror Coat/Rest

QUAGSIRE@quick claw Surf/Haze/Amnesia/Rest

MEW@focus band Fissure/Horn Drill/Rest/Sleep Talk

Note: My team is very hard for a newbie to use. If you would like me to explain anything, tell me and I'll show you that this is indeed a worthwhile team.

i think you guys are forgeting something. first of all do you want rentals or raised yourself because ive got a good rental combo for newbie use.

First off, rentals suck. Anything that can be done with rentals can be done better with my own max-statters. The typical Rental averages about 40 points off of maximum. In addition, Prime Cup's rental Mew and Celebi, as well as all Little Cup rentals, have DEAD MINIMUM STATS EVERYWHERE!

As I always say: If you don't have the GB carts, you shouldn't be playing this game.

Stick with your own Pokemon.

just to say the best team for prime cup (with rentals) would be Fearow, sandslash,kadabra,wobbuffet, corsola, and magmar. if you use them you will know what to hit the enemy with.

Just because Nintendo lists a team DOESN'T MAKE IT THE BEST. There are a number of things they will never tell you (such as DV's or a detailed explanation of the Missingno. Sequence), so why do you think they will give you the absolute best team?

That team can be improved upon just by boosting the stats up to maximums and evolving Pokemon. Besides, Fearow and Corsola suck, and Marowak is probably a better substitute for Sandslash. And does the Magmar even have Cross Chop?

Go read Donald's FAQ. It's the best available at the moment...

If you find me annoying, you must not be a very serious player. Translation: I'm not going to waste my time on newbies who have no intention of taking me seriously.

And as for Missingno., my guide isn't JUST GSC. It also has an RBY section, including a full explanation of the Missingno. sequence.

Hey Jolt. Why don't you just go some where. I am so sick of going to forums and then seeing stuff that you write that doesn't make sense. You must be messed up in the head or something, cause i don't know why you act the way you do. You wouldn't like it if someone went to your game site and started saying stupid stuff. Well to me the best prime cup team has to be.... Feraligatr, Lugia, Zapdos, Tyranitar, Mewtwo, and Charizard. They kick ass!
