SS Anubis switch glitch problem

	Log in to remove this sponsored message I am playing this on the N64, the original cartridge and all. I am having som trouble getting one of the tribals (it's the final one in the game, and I have never been able to complete the game). Most of the tribals to get in the first part of SS Anubis are found near the end, after shooting switches on the walls through out the level. I have shot EVREY switch (yes, really), and I can't seem to get the last tribal (the one in the very first right hand side when you enter the last area with the cell doors). It means that I must shoot the switch that you can see when you first enter the level on the floor above. The thing is, I have already shot it, and it is broken (like the rest of the swtiches), but, the reticule still goes red when I place my gun over the switch (the others don't). It means that it hasn't been destroyed, but it has... it even said, when I shot it, that it worked, but the cell door is still locked at the end. I have loaded up new profiles to see if it would work, but the same problem arises. I have spent hours trying to solve this. Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas on what I should do, anyone? 	hi Dark Elite, i've got the exact same problem. i've just realised this was the reason i never bothered finishing the game all those years ago, and now i've only gone n started playing again. infuriating! which character are you playing as? i'v eyet to finish this with Juno, but at the moment I'm playing as Lupus. btw, the reticule still goes red on all my shot panels, even those that I know did their duty by lowering the shield over the cells.

	Great, it's not just me. It's the same with all characters, I think. I can't remember Lupus, but I'm pretty sure I did him, too. Yeah, I checked again, and the reticule goes red on all of them. Still, the thing is destroyed, yet the barrier remains. Someone please help us!!!!! ------------------- [Guest Book]

	Have you tried the pannel on the ceiling in the neverending band room? Right in front of the entrance... upwards. If not, I have noticed that JFG is a game propense to bugs, in my copy of the game Tribals do not load always

	Guys, 8 cells. 7 switches. There is no bug. Just bad math The 8th switch is high up in the room with the conveyer belt to the left of the door leading to the cells.

	Facepalm It took me 12 years to finally get it... of course, I haven't spent 12 years trying to get it, in that way. Well, there is no glitch. This is what happened: I couldn't find the last switch when I first played, and, so, when I took a break, I think the problem started. You see, when I came back to the game, my memory of what the switches looked like were only of the broken switches, and, so, when I was looking for them, my subconscious would have filtered out anything that didn't look like the broken switches. Second, I thought there was only 7 switches, for a few reasons. First, I couldn't remember how it worked, but Vela was in one of the cells, so I added incorrectly. Second, after being stuck, I downloaded a guide; but, that guide only said there was 7 switches, and only pointed to the ones that I got. Lastly, since the tribal that was still caged was the first on the right when you enter the last room, I thought that it would have been one of the switches from the start that made it open; hence, the reason for the belief of the glitch... Well, there is no glitch, and I found the last one. It was in the Conveyor belt room, high on the wall. Now, I am off to finish the game.
