Which video??? Can i see it?

observer64 - Thing about Corneria is that there are various enemies that give auto hit bonuses and it's a lot easier to manage those manual abuse shots, plus lots of groups to blow apart. My own Corneria score is around 230 on my best runthrough. I can see a pro making use of all the chances I missed and bridging that 70-80 point gap.

Solar is a lot harder. There are few easy groups to hit. The two large groups that appear move too quickly to hit all of them with plasma bolts and realistically double the hit points from both. I just can't see where all the targets come from. Manualling the rocks isn't an option - they're too far away. A bolt would explode before it reaches them. At lowest I'd imagine you'd need about 100 targets at least to hit with manual plasma bolts (that's after subtractng the rocks and two large groups, since realistically you're never wiping them all out with plasma bolts). I just can't see there being enough targets to do that, never mind hitting every single one perfectly with a manual.

insanity previals, you definaly have alot of valid points about how difficult it would be to even score in the 200's, personally i really do agree, and the only one that can properly defend a score is the person that made the score.
again personally i dont see why anyone would go to solar when you can go to sector X instead.

Alright, to clear up some confusion I will say this. The Solar record was a typo, I will soon edit it. I was in a rush, so I am not entirely sure how it did turn out.



And the Venom stage, I was actually very lucky. It won't possibly ever happen again, it was one of those "once-in-a-blue-moon" kind of ordeals. I had done the mentioned trick. And They were all four considerably on the low health, and I shot a random Charged Shot and hit Pigma which had destroyed Leon as well as Wolf in the process. Matter of fact I was unsure how it even happened, they did circle towards each other near the end but I didn't expect them to just collide.

I honestly can't explain the score entirely, as that little accident right there threw off all of my attention. I just wanted to finish lol. But that is what the game had said.



And I'd gladly get a video up if I could just come up with the money to buy one.

Out of curiosity, why take Sector Y and Solar paths when Meteo and Sector X offer more point opportunities than them and still would lead to Katina and Macbeth respectivly? My Meteo best is 399 and I'm not the best player ever. Sector X should easily be in the 300s. =|

Although, please tell me how you got that Sector Y score. My best is barely over 200, and my average slumps into the 180-190 range.

I wanted to show some originality tbh. I am not very good at Aquas, or I'd have just taken that path instead of Solar. Anyone can get these amazing scores by going basically the same way, and since I am generally good in these few quadrants I thought I would just try my hand at them.


In Sector Y, just like in that Corneria movie just shoot the big groups of enemies and what you can't get blast with a bomb. And in the end, where you fight the two robots before the big boss. If you destroy the second one approximately 3 seconds after the first one is destroyed you'll get a point bonus. I am sorry to say I haven't the evidence to prove it, but I did do Sector Y twice and my scores came out in a big gap do to that last little thing.
