Fav Final Fantasy moment of all time? - Page 4

FF7- Gold Saucer
FF8- Escape from Dollet Scene
FF9-Where you "kidnapped" garnet in the beginning.

FFVI - Fighting Ultima Weapon on the floating continent (or island, whatever it was) was awesome, because the music was so epic.

FXIII- Towards the end when Fang transitions into becoming Ragnarok. That scene was pretty intense.

FFVII - Fighting the Weapons.

FFI - Class change. I was so happy to finally get a Ninja.

FF13 Bryhildr/Sazh/Vanille/Dajh/Nautilus

FFVI
The only thing that truly stands in my memory is Kefka's whole Life and Death speech. The man is in the villain zone here, and you can't help feel sorry for this man who's lost all faith in life that he wants to cure the world in death. The bar for FF antagonists, Kefka is my favorite FF villain, just after Kuja. Unfortunately it's been way to long since I last played VI and this is really the only part of epic I can remember clearly.

FFVII
All just one constant blur. The only thing that really made me go what the f*** was Aeris' death at the end of Disc 1.

FFVIII
The Opening. Seeing Squall and Seifer battle it out, and getting our first glimpse of one of the most absurdly fun weapons you could possibly ever see, the Gunblade.

FFIX
Everything Kuja does prior to disc 4, he just stopped being awesome towards the end... it was sad, he became more, Sephiroth evil and less the Marvelous Bastard he was, and as cool as Sephiroth is, he's to cookie cutter evil for me to enjoy that much.

Memoria. That is all.

FFX - The Opening

The End of Operation Mihen, it's here that you actually experience the fallout from an attack from Sin, at the beginning you don't really get a true sense as you go from Zanarkand straight to Bahj, the only thing you get is Tidus' whining at being alone.

Looking down onto the ruins of Zanarkand, and the whole feel of the atmosphere on your way towards the dome. Since he got to Spira, Tidus has been repeatedly told there is no Zanarkand to go home to, but finally seeing his home destroyed, and being forced to accept the fact is just amazing... Kinda wish they had a different VA for him though, his voice kinda ruins the moment.

Sin's Doom cross gravity attack. Honestly, the beast carves a cross into the world spanning about half it's surface and it looks amazing.

FFXII - Nothing memorial here except perhaps the graphics. For the PS2 this thing was a beast.

When you first arrive at the Pharos, dear Jesus that massive waterfall is just epic.

FFXIII - As much as people seemed to hate it I rather enjoyed everything about this game, sure it's pretty linear until Gran Pulse, but seriously, does anyone actually ever bother with sidequests in these games until you're near the end of the story or you have no choice (In which case the games pretty much forcing you to do it and it becomes less of a side quest and something the game is forcing you to do) The Summons were awesome, the story was actually rather intriguing, and as an antagonist, Barthandolas works pretty well.

The ending. Hands down one of the most visually stunning and jam packed endings in any of the games. Although that is promptly ruined by the dorkiness of Hope.

Hmm, you know I posted my favorite accomplishments in FF, I think I should actually post my favorite moments :

FFI - This one has to be an accomplishment, there were no AWESOME story parts, so it was after I beat Omega AND Shinryu.

FFII - Never played it, but I did watch a playthrough, and with the Emperor as one of my fave villains, I would say the ending was my favorite part.
"UNGAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!"

FFIII - Never played this either, but I watched a playthrough, probably when Cloud of Darkness wiped the party out.

FFIV - Fighting the four fiends, I know it isn't a moment, but I loved fighting each one, it was like they each had their own little segment before the fight.

FFV - Galuf's death

FFVI - When Terra finds out she is an Esper

FFVII - Aeris' Death, didn't see it coming, so it made it one of the biggest surprises in FF for me.

FFVIII - Time Kompression, Lunar Cry, and The final boss fight

FFIX - Zidane's breakdown

FFX - Yuna performing the Sending, and any scene with Sin, those were pretty awesome

FFXI - None, maybe the scene where Shantotto fights herself as a giant clone, it sounds weird but I watched like one video of FFXI and saw that.

FFXII - Oh boy, too many to choose from here, probably when you are done fighting Gilgamesh and as you walk away he sneaks up and steals the sword as your character has their back turned to him. Pretty much all the scenes with Gilgy actually.

FFXIII - Any scene with Barthandelus, his theme was awesome
Also the Vanille / Sazh scenes were awesome.

Across the games that I've played, there have been so many fantastic moments, I think I'd struggle to single out enough to be a manageable list. I'd include a few, only to then think of others and want to include them too, and so on.
