	Log in to remove this sponsored message Im trying to play with my friends over a local network, but when i have downloaded the map, the game freezes in the menu, whenever i move my mouse. What can i do? I have tried to run as adminstrator, and reinstall, but nothing seems to work.. I got Vista on my laptop.

	get another version of the game....I had the same problem till I dl'ded a similar version....see if that works

	i was having the same problem, freeze at welcome screen. i had Internet Download Manager(IDM) installed. i turned off the IDM service from the task manager and the problem dosent occur. i hv to turn that service off whenever i want to play cs 1.6. It dosent effect CZ thou.

BUT MIRACLE WHAT I NOTICED RECENTLY ......... go to your folder ------>cstrike> and find the two files "motd.txt" and "motd_temp" jus right click on the two files go to their properties and check the option which says " read only " and then click apply. Thats it... your done !!!! njoy CS 1.6 on VISTA !!!!

	Sometimes when I'm playing CS 1.6 its freezing, I can't move my mouse, play it on Vista. Any help?
